Guests of "La Malcontenta e il Lupo" can stay in a stone farmhouse dating back to the early 1800s, immersed in a protected natural area.
The Agriturismo is located in the hamlet called Asproli, voc. Casaline 31. Its position is close to the Tiber River Park (today also a Special Protection Area, SPA IT5220024), and the Forello Gorge and the Pasquarella Valley (both Sites of Community Importance, SCI IT5220006 IT5220007), in a area where nature is among the wildest in Umbria. The structure is located in the countryside of Todi, and in its vicinity, thus also allowing you to easily reach all the major tourist destinations in Umbria.
The cottage "La Malcontenta e il Lupo" is completely available to guests. It consists of a ground floor with a reception room, a sitting room, bathroom, hallway and a porch, and a first floor which includes a dining room and a kitchen, three bedrooms and a bathroom.
The cottage is fully furnished and equipped with linens, the kitchen is complete with everything needed for cooking (oven, ceramic hob, fridge, wall units, crockery).
From the windows you can enjoy the view of the Tiber Valley and the beginning of the inlets that lead to the Forello Gorges.
The structure is surrounded by nature, although well connected to the main inhabited centres.
Todi is 8 kilometers away. The nearest supermarket is 13 minutes away by car.
There is no restaurant in the structure, but it is possible to buy, for those who wish, the company's organic products, such as truffles or extra virgin olive oil.
Dogs are unfortunately not allowed in the farmhouse. It is a painful decision, but necessary for wildlife to be protected, and this is part of the main objectives of La Malcontenta e il Lupo.
Our company is becoming completely energy self-sufficient. The path we are taking will lead us to be totally detached from the network. We already have an off-grid photovoltaic system and we are about to build a second one which will allow the structure to be self-sufficient.
INDICATIONS:
La Malcontenta e il Lupo is located in Todi (Pg), in the hamlet called Asproli, voc. Casaline 31, near the town of Asproli.
For those coming from the north or south, take the Ponterio exit of the E-45 state road and then continue towards Orvieto (SS448), and turn following the directions for Porchiano - Asproli.
Always and only follow the main paved road.
