August 13-20: Trekking to the discovery of Umbria paths

From August 13 to 20 the guides will accompany you to discover breathtaking views, unique views and sites of historical, cultural and natural interest, scattered in the woods and along the rivers, typical of the hills and mountains of Umbria.

The territory surrounding the Libera Università di Alcatraz covers approximately 420 hectares and is absolutely pristine and untouched. Walking you can find meet, or to find traces of deer, fallow deer and roe deer. But also of hares, weasels, martens, badgers, moles, hedgehogs, marmots, poultry, foxes, wild boars.

Birds of all kinds inhabit the forest and it is not uncommon to see the hoopoe flying, the little robin, the magpie, the jay and the blackcap, quail and pigeons. But there are also long-eared owl and the eagle owl, the shy cuckoo and if you are lucky you can see the flight of the hawk.

A week of trekking through rivers, streams and hills to discover the legends of the place, to learn to recognize the herbaceous and tree species, for dip in nature. A rich program with half-day or full-day tours to discover the treasures of the forest.
