A typical organic farm in the Umbrian hills, in Guinzano (Gubbio), where you can taste the flavor of the new oil and live as before
Guinzano means that bit over there, tell the elders of the area, and so is named the town in historical maps, and is really down there you have to go to get from Stefano and Daniela, and not only to eat or sleep, but for live the experience of a place to forget for a while the world today and find yourself with friends, you've never known before, to talk about or listening to the sounds of silence around and discover a sky where there are still the stars .
Yes, the place is definitely off the beaten track, you can not get there and ask if there is a vacancy or the menu, to go there you have to book before one of six rooms, each decorated with different furniture, but all from the houses family and each with its own story; menu do the fields, animals reared on their own, the season and the imagination of Stephen.
So you happen to sleep in Latvian grandmother, great-uncle or open the closet, even though the 6 rooms are comfortably equipped, all with air conditioning and a private bathroom (one of the rooms also features a Jacuzzi).
Guinzano is also a restaurant, where the food is not only seen as a way of eating, but represents culture and history of the area, the rediscovery of flavors and moment of conviviality; for this we dedicate time and care in searching for products outside of the large distribution and traditional or organic production.
The bread is homemade, from olive oil is that you can see from the veranda and vegetables from the garden, the fruit is always available on the tables and, in season, if you like, even in trees.
We eat in the dining room at a communal table, but if you want privacy you may require a separate table, or on the veranda overlooking the surrounding landscape; in the living room, where you can sit in the original chairs and sofa, dominated by the piano of the great-grandmother.
The company is certified and operated according to the methods of Organic Farming, spread over 16 hectares, part forest and part devoted to crops and livestock.

Posto incantevole, silenzioso e Daniela e Stefano molto cordiali e accoglienti. La cena preparata da Stefano una squisitezza unica. Un posto dove la natura ne fa da cornice. Le piacevoli chiacchierate e la convivialità ti fanno sentire a casa. Consiglio vivamente Guinzano, se volete rilassarvi e vivere i suoni della natura e concedersi la buona cucina tradizionale. pernottamento di una notte. Camera molto spaziosa e pulita, la posizione non è tanto comoda (ma ne vale la pena). ospitalità dei titolari ottima e molto cordiali. Abbiamo cenato in loco cibo ottimo a un prezzo più che buono
