During the Easter period, there are various religious celebrations that take place in our area, such as the Ecce Homo procession in Piegaro and on Easter Monday at the Mongiovino Sanctuary we celebrate the 'feast of the Fraschetta' . It is an ancient custom that wanted lovers, just on Easter Monday, to exchange an olive branch (fraschetta).
