IL CASOLARE BIOENERGETICO is an eco-sustainable structure, ideal for hosting groups of people who wish to practice holistic disciplines in the unspoiled nature of the Parma Apennines.
The Casolare Bioenergetico is a rural building from the 18th century, restored with the criteria of bio-architecture. Immersed in the nature of the Parma Apennines, it is the ideal place to host groups of people who practice holistic disciplines, lovers of the Borgotaro PGI porcini mushroom and hikers on foot or by mountain bike in contact with unspoiled nature.
Double, triple and quadruple rooms and suites with 8 beds are available, furnished in 19th century style. The rooms are furnished with natural materials: wild larch wood floors and eighteenth-century beamed ceilings treated with natural beeswax. The beds, in untreated organic wood and without metals, face north and have eternal aloe fabric mattresses and internally contain carbon filaments.
Lovers of yoga and holistic disciplines will find a meditation room with a natural wooden roof and heated parquet floor. RELAX ROOM: Equipped with massage bed, aromatherapy and music therapy. Adjacent same floor. MEDITATION ROOM: With heated parquet floor, also used for various holistic and multifunctional activities for relaxation and reading with a vast collection of books, TV screen for viewing and listening to DVDs, CDs, video cassettes and vinyl records.
At guests' disposal a park surrounded by firs, horse chestnuts and centuries-old chestnuts, a music therapy system, aromatherapy diffusers and chromotherapy lamps. In the large lawn you will find a fountain with a refreshing foot bath, sun loungers, solarium, hammock, barbecue and picnic area.
The breakfast is based on organic and zero kilometer products. The B&B has an organic garden and purchases products through the Albareto solidarity purchasing group.
Available for the most demanding for direct experience in contact with unspoiled nature: FREE AND WILD ECOCAMPING with pitches for tents and campers.
The Casolare is less than two hours' drive from Milan, Genoa, Piacenza, Bologna, Parma and La Spezia.
You can discover numerous trekking itineraries: on Monte Gottero, at the Passo dei Tre Confini and at the Passo dei Due Santi. But also the cycle paths in the Fondo Valle, the ski resort just 30 minutes away by car, sport fishing in the streams and lakes, visits to the medieval castles of Compiano, Bardi and the Planetarium of Bedonia. In the nearby restaurants you can taste the typical cuisine of Liguria, Parma, Tuscany and the inevitable menu of Porcini mushrooms I.G.P.

E' stata una esperienza fantastica. La cosa che mi ha più colpito è stato il restauro conservativo della struttura con dettagli che non possono essere ignorati. La finestra della nostra camera ad esempio era ancora quella originale con una chiusura manuale unica nel suo genere. Le pareti sono state conservate con le antiche pitture non ritoccate e per questo ancora più affascinanti. Un ambiente in cui ritemprarsi anima e corpo. Inoltre attenzione ai principi bio energetici come la posizione del letto con la testiera a nord per un riposo migliore. Base per escursioni negli infiniti sentieri degli appennini. Non da ultimo la cordiale accoglienza del proprietario, il Sig. Paolo, che oltre a farti sentire a casa tua, non smetteva di ripetere che lì possiamo fare quello che vogliamo senza orari né vincoli di alcun genere. Generoso nel dare consigli sui posti da visitare, curioso per le motivazioni del nostro aver scelto la sua struttura. Insomma una vacanza indimenticabile per chi come noi ama luoghi semplici ma ricchi di storia e tradizione.
