A B & B ecological sustainability and solidarity around the corner from Milan
The Hospitable is a place "different". A spacious and simple, but full of beautiful things, in solidarity. For us a place to accommodate people for many reasons pass by here, offering them a space hospitable, breakfasts bio-solidarity, our greatest availability, services and products based on the utmost sustainability, ideas and projects.
WHY WE LOVE OUR STRUCTURE:
1.E 'a simple space, alternative, solidarity and modern. An area sustainable. Essential, lightweight and economical.
2. Many biological products, real, fresh and local. Not only good things but projects, buying groups, cooperatives, reports and projects.
3. It 'a place where hospitality experience all round. People and not customers.
DISCOVERING THE AREA: INTERESTING THINGS TO SEE AND DO
The Hospitable B & B is located in Legnano, near the railway station of Legnano where in a few minutes (with public transport) can easily be reached:
• the new exhibition center of Milan (Rho Fiera)
• Milan Garibaldi (the hub of the entire network Milan underground)
• the future area of EXPO 2015
Legnano is therefore an ideal starting point to move with both public and private transport to Milan and all its areas.
Also Legnano is on the edge of the Natural Park of the Ticino and just steps from the Seven Lakes (Maggiore, Varese, Ganna, Ghirla, Monate, Comabbio, Lugano) and is an excellent starting point for all the valleys and mountains of Alps and foothills of Piedmont and Lombardy.
In May Legnano it is alive with many initiatives for the reenactment of the medieval Palio di Legnano.
Solidarity tourism
For those with a little 'time, we would like to propose a form of "solidarity tourism". We'll take you to know the Milan area and the north-west social realities (cooperatives, associations and groups) and experiences that represent the desire for a more sustainable and just. With many of these cooperatives and associations work together every day.
Saturdays and Sundays we are at your disposal to organize, in collaboration with the cooperative social roots in River NGO and other organizations, visits to Milan and neighborhood to discover the beauty in our area. The Ticino Park, the surrounding mountains, the lakes ...

Near the B & B also you can also find opportunities for lunches Solidarity, the circle Brotherhood and Peace in Legnano, the court of Cherry in Castellanza, or just a few kilometers places like Sunshine cooking and others of which we will be happy to give you all references.
WALKING, CYCLING, RIDING OR BY TRAIN? IDEAS TO EXPLORE THE PLACES
TRAIN
The Hospitable is in Via Pietro Micca to 3. 'in the city center, 200 meters from the railway station of Legnano, then reached from Milan in 30 minutes. Every 35 minutes there is a train that runs Legnano to Milan Garibaldi (the main hub of the subway system in Milan). The station also to reach Milan you can take the railway link that connects to the network Milan subway. From Legnano you can easily reach the spaces of the Milan Trade Fair as well as the new exhibition spaces of Rho-Fiera and the future EXPO 2015.
PLANE
Coming from Malpensa, as well as public transport, (SACO there is a bus to the station of Gallarate and from there a train to Legnano or the Malpensa Express to Busto Arsizio North and from there, the train to Legnano) arranging times , it can be reached by us in a short time at the airport.
AUTO
For those arriving by car, our B & B is three minutes from the exit of the A8 Milan-Varese Castellanza CAR SHARING and CAR POOLING. A stone's throw from the B & B, in the forecourt of the railway station, there is the E-GO Car-sharing managed by TRENORD. We will be very happy to help you to use this service. We will be very happy to help. Every morning on weekdays arranging times can accompany free max 5 people MILAN Molino Dorino station, where Barbara works.
BREAKFAST: ORGANIC INGREDIENTS, RECIPES, delicious dishes EA KM ZERO
The breakfasts that are served are made from organic products, social cooperatives or fair trade (and in some cases all three criteria). These manufacturers have known them personally through our Solidarity Group Purchase (GASABiLe Legnano).
In particular, depending on the day, you can try Milk and Yogurt bio IRIS, jams biological roots in River coop. Soc. Onlus (made with cane sugar Organic Trade Fair), biscuits and coffee Liberomondo and CTM, or coffee Rebelde Association Ya Basta! or the magnificent Coffee Lazzarelle product in prison in Naples, the spreads of DeaNocciola, or cookies Deola Confectionery, of Liberomondo or Free Earth and many other organic products.
Fresh fruit and organic fruit juices that will always have come from the Cooperative Aequos, the first cooperative GAS in Italy.
And many other good products! But the rest is a surprise.
OUR ECOSTORIA
Hospitality was a bit 'the leitmotif of our lives. Since we got married our home has welcomed people, experiences and challenges. Now that we have 50 years and four children that can help us accommodate customer becomes a new adventure which we hope will be enjoyable and enriching for us and for you. The Hospitable is the evolution of this story. So here you will find the plot of the relationship, a small concentration of our ways of thinking to a sustainable world, supportive and nice.
Consistent with our personal choices, we tried to set up and manage the Hospitable with the criterion of maximum environmental and social sustainability, with products of social cooperation and fair trade.
• All furniture has been designed and manufactured by The Cooperative Way of Biella who works using wood that is used to carry pallets or shipping crates, wood environmentally friendly.
• The blankets and sheets were made by the Social Cooperative OIKOS Vigevano working women inside the home district of Vigevano
• All baskets for objects in the rooms and in the common room are the fair trade imported from Liberomondo
• All appliances in the house are of Class A +
• All the lights in the house are LED or energy saving
• The electricity of the house will be green certified by THIRTY
• The wireless system is provided by Livecom Coop. Soc. NPO, the leading nonprofit phone
• Insurance cover of the B & B has been signed with CAES - Insurance Consortium Ethics Solidarity
• The ceramic objects was made by Coop. Soc. Roots in the River NPO
• For the forms is used only recycled paper
• For cleaning of floors and linen are used in ecological detergents Workshop Naturae and is used refillable (not disposable)
• The B & B takes part in the campaign "Imbrocchiamola" and serves mains water town (also sparkling)
• For breakfast you try to use packaging and large format and recyclable packaging to minimize the use of single-dose
