Chez Raz is a b & b located on a hill between citrus and olive trees. Managed by an Italian-Scottish couple with twenty years of experience in the field of hospitality in an environment where the priority is respect for animals and nature.

Three km from the center of Velletri and only 40 km from the center of Rome, located on top of a hill surrounded by vineyards, olive groves and vegetable gardens, located on the first floor of our house, Chez Raz is the ideal place for a holiday for all tastes.
The surrounding area offers many possibilities for those who love outdoor activities and nature: characteristic villages and towns are perched on the chain of the Lepini Mountains (Rocca Massima, Cori, Sermoneta, Segni), natural parks and lakes are located at a maximum 30-minute drive (the Castelli Romani Regional Park with the top of Mount Artimisio and the chain of the Lepini mountains with the top of Mount Lupone), offer sports enthusiasts the possibility of trekking and mountain biking.
For sun and sea lovers, we are located at a convenient distance from the most beautiful beaches of the southern coast of Lazio (Circeo, Sabaudia, and further south Sperlonga and Terracina); about 20 minutes by car are the lakes of Castel Gandolfo and Nemi; otherwise you can get lost in food and wine adventures from city to city of the Castelli Romani (Genzano, Ariccia, Albano, Rocca di Papa). The center of Rome is instead 50 minutes by train or about 1 hour by car.
For those who are simply looking for a place to relax, from 15 MAY TO 15 SEPTEMBER, you can enjoy our swimming pool with deck chairs, and the private garden with chairs, tables and barbecue.

We offer accommodation with breakfast and use of the kitchen.
In the summer months we provide a 70m2 gazebo that can comfortably accommodate up to 16 people for yoga practice. In the cooler months there is a small 35m2 wood-heated yurt that can accommodate up to 10 people (including the teacher). The spaces are equipped with bolsters, rugs, belts, wooden bricks and the summer gazebo with an Iyengar wall with belts.

Take advantage of the organic shower shampoo dispensers installed in our showers.
Use the glass bottles we supply to be filled from the kitchen faucet on which we have installed a filter.
You can avoid the use of disposable or plastic tableware, ours is equipped with everything you need. .
You will not find a TV in the rooms but you can take advantage of free WIFI and a library.
Use the air conditioning at your disposal only in the evening.

Our linen is washed with 100% biodegradable detergents and perfumed with essential oils, produced by a small family business in Castelfiorentino (FI)
For cleaning we only use biodegradable products with zero environmental impact.
GOOD NEWS FROM OUR LAND:
For some years we have been replanting native trees (holm oaks, arbutus, rowan, carob, cork, oak ...) to contribute to reforestation and we have left a part of the 15,000 meters of spontaneously growing land to allow small animals, insects to find refuge. . .
