In a privileged location among green valleys and hills in the Monreale countryside, just a stone's throw from Palermo, Masseria Castellana invites you to rediscover the harmony between man and nature. The Masseria preserves the original layout of Sicilian rural farm buildings, which housed lodgings, barns, and animal shelters, all arranged around the internal courtyard "u bagghio." It offers accommodation in comfortable and well-equipped apartments, with the option of enjoying a delightful breakfast upon request, including delicious cakes or desserts made on the farm and typical biscuits from the Monreale area. The farm extends over 70 hectares dedicated to the organic cultivation of grains, legumes, and olive groves. The farm also has a mushroom cultivation room, with produce available at certain times of the year. You can stroll through the olive groves and observe the agricultural activities, rediscovering the pleasure of a simple life, marked by the activities of farming and tending livestock, enjoying unique experiences far from the hustle and bustle of daily life.
The extra virgin olive oil from our olive groves can be the protagonist of an immersive experience. Want to experience the thrill of owning a real olive tree? You can adopt one or more trees and share them with family or friends. You'll be constantly updated on the status of your olive tree while staying connected to the Masseria. Payment and Cancellation Terms
A deposit equal to 15% of the total stay is required at the time of booking. The full amount for the stay must be paid on the day of arrival. For other services, such as breakfast or meal arrangements, payment will be made on-site after consumption. In the event of cancellation, the deposit paid within seven days of the scheduled arrival date will be retained.
