We prioritized conservation, maintaining their authenticity at the expense of a modernity that we believe doesn't blend well with the surrounding environment. In the Captain's houses, you'll find everything you need for a totally relaxing vacation away from the chaos of the city.
GREEN HOUSE
A studio apartment with a kitchenette and a spacious bathroom with a bathtub. Perfect for two, but can accommodate up to four people. The oriental style that sets it apart from the others, and the garden with a large palm tree, transport guests to an exotic place, despite being on a volcanic island!

LILAC HOUSE
A small studio apartment with a kitchenette and a small bathroom with shower, like being in a spacious ship cabin. Being on the first floor, fresh air will welcome you even on the hottest nights.
Featuring a private terrace with a breathtaking 180° view, and a romantic and comfortable balcony overlooking the sea; ideal for couples' vacations and anniversaries.

BLUE HOUSE
The main apartment of the complex.
A two-room apartment with a living room/bedroom, fully equipped kitchen, large bathroom with shower, and a double bedroom with a balcony. Located in the upper section, it enjoys cool and quiet.

YELLOW HOUSE
Studio apartment with a kitchenette and bathroom with shower.
It has an additional sofa/bed in the living area, comfortably accommodating three people.
It was called the love nest because of the large heart cut out in the bedroom wall.

The island:
There are no cars on Stromboli. (Only small electric cars, a few Ape cars, and scooters). The town is small and easily explored on foot. Upon arrival, if you're not familiar with the island, you can ask for a ride from a taxi. There are no street lights at night, so you'll need a flashlight, but we think walking by moonlight is even more beautiful.
Climbing the Volcano
A must-see. Iddu (the volcano) is a unique spectacle. It looks at you, it grumbles, it's a constant presence. You have to remember it and respect it. Excursions to the volcano can usually be done every day of the year. There are numerous guides; you can ask ZaZà (Magmatrek ) or whoever you prefer, because they are all competent. All the equipment (including shoes, headlamps, poles, etc.) can be rented for a few euros on the island at one of the two specialized shops. (One in the main church square, the other in the alley leading to the port near the tobacconist, a few steps from the house.)
Island Tour
Touring the island is easy and a short trip. It can be done easily in three hours, with some unforgettable swims at Strombolicchio, the "piscine", Ginostra, or Punta Lena.
To organize your trip, you can rent a dinghy by asking at the port.
In Ginostra, you can also organize evenings with aperitifs and/or dinners, returning to Stromboli passing under the Sciara del Fuoco (Sciara del Fuoco) and admiring the eruptions from the sea. It's a spectacle not to be missed!
There are several ways to get to Stromboli: by land (from Sicily or Calabria) and by sea (from Naples, Milazzo, or Palermo).
