B&B La Volpe
Your retreat amidst the nature of the hills just steps from the sea
B&B La Volpe is a detached house dating back to the 1900s, completely renovated in 2023, incorporating the latest construction and energy innovations. It has a low environmental impact thanks to the use of renewable energy sources such as solar and photovoltaic panels, and is completely gas-free.
We are located near the Cinque Terre National Park, 300 meters above sea level on the hills surrounding Moneglia, completely immersed in nature, surrounded by olive trees, vineyards, citrus trees, woods, Mediterranean scrub, and numerous animals.
The view from the house extends from the surrounding hills to the Gulf of Moneglia, and on clear days, Corsica and other islands of the Tuscan archipelago can be seen on the horizon.
The town center is less than an 8-minute drive (5 km) along a typical Ligurian road. There is also a shuttle service to the town center, with a stop 150 meters from the house. For hiking enthusiasts, there are several trails that run through the woods behind the house or lead directly to the town center in about 40 minutes on foot.
Moneglia boasts a beautiful sea and several sandy and rocky beaches; it has been awarded the Blue Flag since 1987!
The house's location is strategic for those wishing to visit the renowned Cinque Terre, easily accessible in just a few minutes by train from Moneglia station or by boat from the town's small harbor.
Not far away are the towns of Sestri Levante, Lavagna, Chiavari, Rapallo, Santa Margherita Ligure, Portofino, and the Abbey of San Fruttuoso, also easily accessible by train or boat.
The bedrooms and breakfast room are located on the first floor of the house, accessed via a separate external staircase.
Both bedrooms are equipped with heating and cooling and have a private bathroom complete with sink, toilet, bidet, and shower.
Guests can use the breakfast room to make use of books, board games, cards, a mini-fridge, a microwave, a kettle, a toaster, a moka pot, and a capsule coffee machine.
In warmer weather, breakfast can be served outside on the patio overlooking the hills and the gulf.
For hygiene reasons, walking in shoes is prohibited inside the house.
Outdoors include lounge chairs, umbrellas, a sofa, and a hot/cold solar shower.
Parking is available along the street or inside the house, subject to availability.
Pets are welcome, provided you notify us in advance. Two dogs and a cat already live on the ground floor, but they do not have access to the first floor. Dog-sitting service is available upon request.
Upon request, you can reserve:
- a parking space in one of the town's parking lots convenient to the sea;
- sun loungers and umbrellas on a local beach.

Payment and Cancellation Terms
Payment: A 50% deposit is required via bank transfer or PayPal. The remaining balance is due in cash or by credit card on site. Cancellation is free up to 7 days before check-in.
