The Di Puccio family is pleased to welcome you into their home, since 1955 in an uncontaminated corner of rare beauty.
The original structure of the Capo Sud Hotel was built in 1955 by the Di Puccio family, who still manage it today. Since then, it has expanded and been renovated several times, but its warm and friendly welcome has remained unchanged. The hotel offers accommodations in forty rooms located in small villas (each with 2 to 12 rooms) set in a park of over 10,000 square meters that extends to our private beach.
These tranquil villas are named: La Palma, L'Eucaliptus, Il Sole, L'Aleatico, La Luna, I Pini, Le Mimose, L'Usignolo, Il Pittosforo, Il Riccio, and La Salvia Marina; their names were inspired by their unique positions in the green Mediterranean scrub that surrounds the hotel. Each room is surrounded by vegetation and has its own balcony or terrace.
One of the features most appreciated by our guests is the proximity to the sea. From the terrace where breakfast is served, near the water lily pond, three paths lead to the private beach and swimming pool after about a hundred meters.
We are in a peaceful corner, right on the edge of the Tuscan Archipelago Natural Park, which promises clean sea water and unspoiled nature.
Our central location near Elba's main towns makes "Capo Sud" an excellent starting point for those wishing to visit these towns, just a few minutes' drive away: Capoliveri and its ancient hilltop village, Portoferraio with its Medici fortresses and Napoleon's villas, and Porto Azzurro and Marina di Campo with their elegant shops.
For those who prefer to "forget" about the car for the entire holiday, there are plenty of opportunities for beautiful walks in the surrounding area, such as along the Capo Stella promontory with views of the Elba sea on both sides.
And finally, even those who choose complete relaxation can still enjoy the beauty of the island, sitting on a comfortable bench in the shade of a majestic eucalyptus tree or under the warm Lacona sun, perhaps reading a book from the hotel's well-stocked library.
Our four-legged friends are welcome during the low season, when we can guarantee them comfortable and quiet accommodations. For 2027, pets are welcome from April 23 to June 13 and from August 28 to October 17, at no extra charge. Access is permitted on the beach and within the grounds; access is not permitted in the pool area or in the areas where we serve meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner).

Payment and Cancellation Terms
At the time of booking, a deposit corresponding to approximately 30% of the expected cost of the stay will be requested, which must be received by the hotel by a set date. Once the deposit has been received, the reservation will be considered final. In case of non-arrival of the deposit within the terms, the hotel will be free to cancel the reservation without any consequence. If the booker decides to cancel the reservation by communicating it to the hotel 30 or more days before the expected arrival date, the hotel undertakes to refund the deposit in full by bank transfer. If the booker decides to cancel the reservation by communicating it to the hotel less than 30 days before the date of arrival, the hotel will keep the deposit as compensation for the damage caused by the cancellation. If the booker wishes to modify the reservation in any way (type of room, number of people, date of arrival and / or departure) this request will be evaluated by the hotel and treated in all respects as a cancellation of the previous reservation and a new one. request. The hotel can then decide to withhold the deposit according to the time limits described above. In case of early departure with respect to what was booked, whatever the cause of this (including serious family and personal cases or cases of force majeure), the Guest is required to pay the overnight rate even for the days he will not use. , according to the rules set out in the national hotel contract.
