A Mediterranean style villa in the center of the Salento countryside, 5 km from the lecce and in the heart of cycling and wine-making routes of the Cupa Valley. A simple yet well-maintained structure, with 14,000 square meters of fruit trees, which are used for breakfast. A very limited vegetable produces what is needed for daily needs. Simple rooms with no refrigerators in the room but with a single self-service fridge in the common area, to allow limited consumption and reduce pollution. Low power bulbs and a great deal of attention to separate collection, including the use of composting for the disposal of dumped waste.
The mulberry is home to small animals that can live with our lively Pincher and with our little girl, Bice, great but sweet.
The care of human relationships, the absence of any form of religious, political, cultural, social and sexual discrimination, make Gelso a quiet and hospitable structure.
