In the green heart of Tuscany, near the fertile lands of Monte Amiata, stands Podere di Maggio: a farmhouse, glamping center and retreat immersed in a pristine valley crossed by the Fiora river.
Here, silence, wild nature and the simplicity of a life in harmony with the environment reign.
The Podere is located 7 km from Santa Fiora, on a hill surrounded by centuries-old chestnut trees that dance with the wind. From the terraces you can admire one of the most intact valleys in the region, where in summer the river refreshes the days.
Our project was born from the desire to share a place that invites you to slow down, breathe and reconnect.
Podere di Maggio is the ideal place for eco-friendly holidays, regenerating stays and retreats inspired by the simplicity and beauty of nature. Here, every detail is taken care of with love, respecting the landscape that welcomes us.
We offer:
• Two apartments and a detached house, carefully restored, with 1-2 bedrooms, kitchen, bathroom and terrace with panoramic views.
• Four glamping tents, spacious and surrounded by chestnut trees, with beds, carpets, electricity and private bathroom
• A shared kitchen for glamping, well equipped and with individual refrigerator
• A Bio Pool without chlorine and other chemicals
Guests can explore the natural reserves of Monte Amiata, relax in the nearby spas (Saturnia, Petriolo, Bagno Vignoni), visit Etruscan villages and tuff villages such as Pitigliano and Sorano.
In the warm months it is possible to cool off in the natural pool with spring water, dive into the river a few minutes walk away or go to the beaches of the coast.
Podere di Maggio is easily reachable by car, it is also possible to arrive by public transport, but it should be taken into account that there are few trips during the day. It is also possible to organize a transfer from the airport or train stations.

Payment and Cancellation Terms
For reservations we ask for a 20% deposit via bank transfer or Paypal. The balance can be paid on site, by bank transfer or POS with debit/credit cards. The reservation can be canceled free of charge up to 2 weeks before arrival.

Sarebbe utile avere la possibilità solo di camere e non di case.
Per una notte si dorme e non si utilizza tutto il resto, pagando il prezo di una casa.
Si potrebbe differenziare l'offerta del prezzo.
Molto isolato ma vicino ad un paesino per mangiare.

Podere di Maggio non è un albergo e né abbiamo intenzione di crearne uno. Affittiamo appartamenti e case indipendenti al di fuori del centro abitato in un ambiente ricco di natura.
Gli alloggi hanno almeno una camera da letto, un bagno e una cucina abitabile, il quale è molto piacevole se ci si ferma per un po'.
Avendo bisogno di soltanto una camera da letto per una notte, potrebbe essere consigliabile prenotare un hotel nel paese.
Siamo stati contenti con la vostra presenza, per il quale vi ringraziamo.

location indimenticabile, a stretto contatto con la natura.
Il silenzio e il verde ne fanno da padroni.
Posizione panoramica, a 12 minuti dal primo centro città (Santa Fiora).
Alloggio in yuta, accogliente e arredata in stile gipsy.
I servizi igienici ben puliti, dislocati rispetto alla tenda (pertanto consigliamo questa soluzione nei periodi più caldi, anche se la vista è spettacolare).
Soggiorno brevissimo, un solo weekend, ma quanto basta per percepire la dedizione e l'apertura degli host, gentili e disponibili, verso l'altro, punto fondamentale quando si viaggia. Sensazioni di familiarità.

Luogo immerso nel bosco sul monte Amiata ricco di fauna selvatica ,con strade poco percorribili di notte poiché non c’è illuminazione è molto disastrate .Il podere molto rustico con un bel panorama notturno ,nel complesso è stato un fine settimana molto avventuroso,pertanto consiglio di andarci con un fuoristrada .

I proprietari sono gentili accoglienti e disponibili. La camera era ben tenuta in stile etnico, la posizione del B&B è centrale per diverse località sia di interesse culturale che artistico. Ottima accoglienza e i servizi ottimi.
