Il bed & breakfast, bed & bike “Le Ghiandaie” si colloca in una zona amena e panoramica della Valle Stura nell’ambito di una villa immersa in un lussureggiante giardino, circondato da campi di lavanda, coltivato a prato e parco rallegrato da un grazioso orto nonché attrezzato di lettini, panchine, amache, barbecue e forno a legna.
L’edificio progettato dall’arch. Oddino all’inizio del ‘900 si distingue per il suo stile neogotico inglese unito alla semplicità ligure della decorazione policroma.
Gli arredi delle ampie stanze sono con mobili d'epoca e in stile rurale, oltre ad essere caratterizzate da decori fatti personalmente dalla proprietaria.
A disposizione degli ospiti anche una sala lettura con camino. Dalla torretta che caratterizza la casa si ha una visuale a 360° sulla Valle Gargassa. La colazione a base di prodotti della zona comprende formaggette, miele, marmellate, latte e focaccette. Il riscaldamento è a legna ed è stato installato un impianto fotovoltaico.

Arrivati all'ora del tramonto il panorama e i colori dorati del sole sulle foglie gialle erano meravigliosi, accompagnati da un caloroso benvenuto da parte dei proprietari con caldarroste sul fuoco e un bicchiere di vino. La casa era calda, comoda, accogliente e munita di tutti gli elettrodomestici necessari per viaggiare con un bambino. Ambiente molto tranquillo e rilassante. Colazione abbondante servita all'ora richiesta da noi. Bellissima esperienza!
