In the village of Palanzo, halfway between Como and Bellagio, an eco-sustainable Bed & Breakfast near Lake Como, housed in a typical house in the historic center. The ideal starting point for lake walks and mountain trekking. Palanzo is located about 600 meters, in front of Lake Como, in a sunny and panoramic position. A few steps from the B&B you can visit the "great press" which dates back to 1572. Every year, in early October, the homonymous popular festival is dedicated to it.
The bed and breakfast is housed in a 19th century manor house recently renovated with attention to sustainability and the history of the place. Each apartment has a kitchen and private bathroom.
- The "Ruskin" apartment has a kitchen and private bathroom. It has a double bedroom and a bedroom with fireplace and sofa bed for one and a half. During the summer breakfast is served on the terrace.
- The Family Room "Samivel" is a two-room apartment with a double bedroom and a bedroom with sofa bed and fireplace, partial lake view. Shared services.
- The "Folon" Double Room has a double bed and shared bathroom.
The living room includes a rich buffet breakfast which includes: hot drinks such as tea, coffee, milk and chocolate; fruit juices, yoghurt, jams and homemade specialties: bread, briosche and cakes. During the summer, breakfast is served on the panoramic terrace.
The B&B is 16 km from Como. E-bike rental (full mountain-bike with assisted pedaling) if desired also with guide. On request it is possible to use a small library which has photographic books, maps and guides with itineraries.
Not to be missed in the surroundings:
- Faggeto Lario: visit of the village of Palanzo and the nearby hamlets of Lemna, Molina and Riva to discover suggestive alleys, squares, stone portals and typical restaurants;
- Bellagio: the "Perla del Lario", reachable both by car and by bus or by boat,
- Center lake: visit to the villages and villas with their parks
- Orrido di Nesso: deep natural rift with waterfall that crosses the town.

This is the most cosy old town we have ever seen. The B&B was really specious and beautifull. Clean, very nice breakfast and friendly hosts.
