In the village of Palanzo, halfway between Como and Bellagio, an eco-sustainable Bed & Breakfast near Lake Como, housed in a traditional house in the historic center. It's the ideal starting point for lakeside walks and mountain hikes. Palanzo is located about 600 meters above sea level, overlooking Lake Como, in a sunny and panoramic position. Just steps from the B&B, you can visit the "grande torchio," a wine press dating back to 1572. Every year, in early October, a popular festival of the same name is held in honor of the wine press.
The bed and breakfast is housed in a 19th-century manor house, recently renovated with a focus on sustainability and the local history. Each apartment has an eat-in kitchen and private bathroom.
- The "Ruskin" Apartment has an eat-in kitchen and private bathroom. It features a double bedroom and a bedroom with a fireplace and a queen-size sofa bed. During the summer, breakfast is served on the terrace.
The "Samivel" Family Room is a two-room apartment with a double bedroom and a bedroom with a sofa bed and fireplace, and a partial lake view. Shared bathrooms are available.
The "Folon" Double Room has a double bed and a shared bathroom.
A generous buffet breakfast is included with your stay, including hot drinks such as tea, coffee, milk, and hot chocolate; fruit juices, yogurt, jams, and homemade specialties such as bread, croissants, and cakes. During the summer, breakfast is served on the panoramic terrace.
The B&B is located 16 km from Como. Guided e-bike tours (full mountain bikes with pedal assistance) are available. A small library with photography books, maps, and itinerary guides is available upon request.
Not to be missed in the surrounding area:
- Faggeto Lario: visit the village of Palanzo and the nearby hamlets of Lemna, Molina, and Riva to discover charming alleys, small squares, stone portals, and traditional restaurants;
- Bellagio: the "Pearl of the Lario," accessible by car, bus, or boat.
- Center of the lake: Visit the villages and villas with their parks.
- Orrido di Nesso: A deep natural ravine with a waterfall that flows through the town.

Gino und Marisa haben uns sehr herzlich in Empfang genommen. Das Frühstück auf der Terrasse mit tollem Ausblick auf den See haben wir sehr genossen.

This is the most cosy old town we have ever seen. The B&B was really specious and beautifull. Clean, very nice breakfast and friendly hosts.
