We live in a house anchored to a rock, firm and stable. Here, silence reigns, the sounds of animals, and the view of the mountains. A few steps from our house, the forest begins, where you can immerse yourself in nature. You can walk for hours or take long bike rides. Our house is accessible by bus, which drops you off a few hundred meters away. The train, about three kilometers away, is a 35-minute walk, and from there, you can reach the center of Turin in 25 minutes or reach the mountains of the upper Susa Valley. We have a parking space, although we hope to meet hikers like us who, passing by, decide to stop and rest in our house. We have a courtyard and a balcony that can be used to relax, sit at a table, and enjoy the stay. There are so many things to visit around us on foot, or for cycling enthusiasts, there are plenty of mountain climbs just a few kilometers from our house. We live in a valley rich in treasures, such as the Sacra di San Michele, the lakes of Avigliana and its beautiful historic center, Rivoli Castle with its contemporary art museum, the castles of the Susa Valley, the Exilles Fort and its medieval town, the ancient monastery of Novalesa, and the city of Susa with its Roman ruins. There are countless mountain trails to explore, such as the Via Francigena that runs through the entire valley, the Orsiera Rocciavrè Natural Park with its refuges that allow for three-day circular tours, the mountains of the upper Susa Valley and the many refuges in the area. Just minutes away, we have the city of Turin, with its surprising elegance, encapsulating the history of Italy from its origins. Furthermore, there are plenty of outdoor pools and water parks nearby, such as the one in Rivoli.
