The Da Oreste was born in the '30s on the initiative of our grandfather Elia, who opened his own hotel business where now stands the town house From Orestes: at a winery, then over the years an inn for food and accommodation. Reduced to rubble by the war, the inn From Orestes was rebuilt by our uncle and our father becoming a hotel and restaurant, with a bar and ice cream parlor: the first pool, the first jukeboxes, the first pinball. And when we got married, the great restraunt room included the receipt for the festivities. Today the tradition of our family continues with the guest house Da Oreste. Completely renovated in 2015, Da Oreste offers its guests a friendly and informal atmosphere in a nice and tastefully decorated surroundings, to spend holidays and moments of relaxation in the heart of Abruzzo.
Fara San Martino, is a delightful medieval village, at the foot of Mount Majella and close to the sources of the Verde River. And 'one of the ports of entry to the Majella National Park, Environmental heaven and the kingdom of the Apennine wolf, crossed by over seven hundred kilometers of walking trails.
The landlord Da Oreste offers six rooms on different floors served by a lift. According to your needs you can choose between single rooms, twin / double beds, double room with use of a private kitchen, double room with private balcony, quadruple. The property also has a large rooftop terrace with panoramic views stretching from the roofs of the village to Mount Majella and a common space on the ground floor with a reading corner for rest and relaxation moments.

Un posto meraviglioso per un po' di relax. La stanza affittata (quella con la cucina) era superlativa: il profumo, l'ordine, la spaziosità data dall'essenzialità e dalla luminosa mi hanno fatto sentire all'interno di una spa.
L'accoglienza è stata ottima, discreta e dolce. Anche durante gli accordi tutto è stato dettato da mettere l'ospite al centro di ogni richiesta.
Sono una ragazza molto attenta alla sostenibilità, Da Oreste si rispetta l'ambiente, e con moderazione si cerca anche d'infondere qualche conoscenza e notizia.
Meraviglioso: tornerò senz'altro!

Bella struttura ben arredata e con tutto il necessario. Ottima vista dalla camera e dal balcone a disposizione degli ospiti. Proprietaria molto gentile e disponibile. Buon punto di partenza per visitare la zona della Maiella.
