COVID-19 PRECAUTIONS -
The apartments have completely independent entrances, external terraces for exclusive use and, for the occasion, two reserved areas in the garden, well apart from each other, each for each apartment, equipped with sunbeds and umbrellas.
the only part in common is the small swimming pool (470x270x80).
At each change, the rooms are disinfected and sanitized with the use of ozone.

DESCRIPTION
Located on the verdant hills of San Felice del Benaco between the town and the lake, in a green area of environmental protection, the straw house is a recently renovated farmhouse according to the principles of green building using natural materials such as wood, straw, cork, pure lime , sand and clay.
The scents of straw, wood and its resin which permeate the house, the luxuriant vegetation, the squirrels, pheasants, foxes and hares that peek out from the greenery will give you an unforgettable experience of peace and relaxation.
Who we are
Welcome we are Giovanni, Daniela and Carlo, the cats Rufo and Diablo and the big dog Pino. We have been living in San Felice del Benaco since 2013 when we bought this old country house to be able to live in a serene environment enjoying the fantastic nature of these places and allowing our son to grow up free and happy. We hope to be able to give you a little of all this and we wish you a pleasant stay.
Our philosophy
We firmly believe in the need to respect and preserve our environmental heritage and all our life choices are oriented in this direction. Our house is built only with wood and straw, clay, natural lime, sand and cork which give it a particular healthiness, cool in summer and warm in winter and which have a very low environmental impact. The whole house is powered by electricity from alternative energy sources, the detergents used, which we will put at your disposal, are certified biodegradable products. We welcome your pets and look forward to sharing these simple but fundamental principles with you.
Apartments
The house consists of two apartments dedicated to hospitality, exclusively family-run, bright and comfortable:
the 75sqm ULIVO apartment, located on the ground floor, consisting of a large room with a fully equipped kitchen, a double bedroom and one with a single bed and a bunk bed, can comfortably accommodate 5 people, has a private bathroom with shower and bidet . Outside, overlooking the garden, in the shade of large walnut and olive trees, a spacious terrace for EXCLUSIVE USE, equipped with a table and benches, where your pets can stay in absolute safety.
The NOCE apartment of 60sqm, located on the ground floor, consists of a large equipped kitchen, a large bedroom with double bed and single bed, bathroom suitable for the disabled. The terrace for EXCLUSIVE USE, equipped with a table and benches shaded by the large walnut tree, overlooks the common garden, with an enclosed space for your pets.
Inside the garden, two RELEVANT AREAS have been created, one for each apartment, well spaced from each other, equipped with sunbeds and deckchairs where you can relax in total safety.
Meals
It is possible to use the "HOME DELIVERY" service for the delivery of breakfast and meals by restaurants.
Surroundings
It only takes a few minutes on foot to reach the beaches of the port and Baia del Vento where you can rent pedal boats, sup boards and canoes, there is a space equipped for children and a restaurant. From the small port you can embark for a visit to the spectacular island of Garda and drink a good aperitif while enjoying the view of the Rocca di Manerba.
The very welcoming old historic center, full of good restaurants, bars, banks, supermarkets, butchers, bakers, fishmongers, pharmacy, can be reached in about 15 minutes on foot. Every Wednesday morning the square hosts a peaceful market where you can buy tasty dishes: fruit, vegetables, cheeses, honey. With a walk along the cycle/pedestrian path, through olive groves, vineyards and beautiful views of the lake and the island of Garda, you can reach the villages of Cisano with the seventeenth-century Palazzo Cominelli and Portese with its medieval castle. Summer evenings are full of events, festivals and music, you certainly won't be bored! In a few minutes by car you can reach the Rocca di Manerba park and the splendid town of Salò with its lakeside promenade and lively Saturday morning market.
Sport
You can devote yourself to five-a-side football matches or exciting minigolf challenges in the nearby sports centre; you can make beautiful excursions with sup boards or canoes from the Baia del Vento beach.
Starting from the house, walking or jogging, you can quickly reach the panoramic cycle-pedestrian path which, passing through the port, quickly climbs into the village and from there, descends towards the Baia del Vento and then quickly leads back to the Casa di Hay.
For lovers of excursions on foot or by bicycle, there are wonderful itineraries, from the easiest and most relaxing to the most demanding, which run along the paths of the nearby mountains. In this regard, it is possible to rent e-bykes. I am a trekking lover and I would be happy to be able to accompany you to discover the most beautiful and wild corners of our mountains
For free-climbers, the equipped walls overlooking the lake of the Rocca di Manerba offer unforgettable suggestions. In nearby Casto, however, it is possible to practice via ferratas of various difficulties, from the simplest, but no less beautiful, also suitable for children, to the more difficult ones. Equipment can be rented on site. Then there is Arco (TN) which can be reached in an hour by car, a climbing paradise.
There are various opportunities for golf enthusiasts: Colombaro in Cunettone di Salò, Garda Golf in Soiano del Lago (BS), Arzaga Golf in Cazzago di Calvagese della Riviera (BS) and Golf Bogliaco in Bogliaco (BS).
In recent years the passion for cross-country swimming in the lake has developed and in particular groups of swimmers try their hand every evening armed with wetsuits and buoys around the island of Garda starting from the nearby Baia del Vento.
You can practice surfing or kitesurfing in Campione or go paragliding from Mount Pizzoccolo to enjoy one of the most beautiful views of the lake.
During the winter, an hour's drive away, you can reach magnificent and still genuine mountains, not invaded by mass tourism, where you can practice winter sports: downhill skiing, cross-country skiing and ski mountaineering as well as making beautiful excursions with snowshoes.
Relax
A few steps from the house on the border between San Felice and Portese there is the spa of Villa Luisa or
you can let yourself be pampered by the warm thermal waters of Aquaria in Sirmione or immerse yourself in those of the Garda Thermal Park in Colà di Verona.

Do not miss the splendid Isola del Garda with its palace and its botanical garden; the nearby Salò with its Cathedral and its Art Nouveau buildings, Gardone Riviera with the Vittoriale (http.// and the botanical garden of the “Andrè Heller” foundation; the splendid city of Brescia (http// with its squares, Romanesque churches, the Roman forum, the museum of Santa Giulia (http//bresciamusei.com/),... ......., as well as Verona (http// with the Arena and the house of Romeo and Juliet. Not to be forgotten is also Sirmione with its ancient walls and thermal baths. In the day you can reach the cities of Venice, Bergamo and Milan (we recommend the train from Desenzano).
To the delight of the little ones, but not only, in a short time you can reach the amusement parks of Gardaland, Aquaparadise, or visit the Parco Natura Viva or, if you prefer tranquility, the little ones will also have fun in the "Bosco enchanted” in Soprazzocco di Gavardo (BS) where they can play pleasant games in the woods with fairies and elves.
