Borgo Cerquelle is made up of stone houses built between the late 17th and early 19th centuries.
The name "Cerquelle" derives from "Cerque," the dialect name for oaks (in this case, young oaks), trees that characterize the area.
Borgo Cerquelle is located approximately 600 meters above sea level, near the Matese National Park, and is surrounded by streams, woods, meadows, and olive groves.
It has been an organic farm and agriturismo for approximately 30 years.
