Solitary on top of a hill with a spectacular view of the Langhe, in the silence of untouched countryside, the farm Zabaldano is 500 m above sea level, at the southern end of the Piedmont and the province of Asti, near the border with Liguria.
It offers accommodation in three small apartments in a wing of the big, old restored farmhouse in which we live.
Each apartment is named after a typical animal of the surrounding hills (fox, badger and roe deer), it includes a double bedroom, a bath and / or shower, and a living room with a sofa bed. The equipment is complete: bed linen, bath and kitchen, books, radio, crockery, dishes, pots etc. The "Fox", which has been designed and equipped for the disabled in wheelchairs.
The company does not offer food service and breakfast, but offers its guests everything needed for do-it-yourself awakening: milk, tea, coffee, biscuits, toast, butter, jam, honey production of ' company.
E 'can go shopping in the many food markets or small shops on the advice of the company, or even at small local producers (DOC wines, DOP cheeses, liqueurs); or you can eat in very good restaurants, taverns and farm a few kilometers away.
For guests, heated Jacuzzi whirlpool installed outdoors, where you can admire the beautiful view of the valley.
"We are also an ideal starting point for walking or mountain-biking, bird-watching and butterfly-watching, try to collect mushrooms and chestnuts, nuts, fruits." In the farm you can also participate in agricultural activities that vary according to season: work in the vineyard and the hazelnut, hay, harvest, but also the activities of honey extraction. And you especially can "go for Langa", discovering its unspoiled nature, its artistic treasures, its medieval villages and its famous gastronomic delights.
