Located at an elevation of 700 meters the air is cooler here and the environment lush and green. Explore private river pools and waterfalls, then enjoy an evening in our wood-fired sauna and natural swimming pool before a fresh homemade meal in our intimate restaurant. We also offer over 12 workshops which provide the opportunity to learn from our amazing community members, including wood carving, medicine making and cooking workshops.
For over 35 years slow and thoughtful additions were made to reach the space we offer today, and our family is still deeply involved in keeping our lodge flourishing. We operate on strong regenerative tourism principles and have always strived to have a positive impact in our community and on the beautiful environment that surrounds us. Recently our efforts were recognised as we were awarded the gold Eco Climate Badge with the highest ranking of any accommodation in Bali (2026)!
*The lodge is immersed in nature so do expect to encounter some small wildlife during your stay, lizards, geckos and insects can be seen around your bungalow. We proudly have a no chemical or poison policy which allows helpful wildlife on our property to thrive.
