At Lilly’s Cozy Cove, we open our door to welcome you into our comfortable and eclectically decorated rooms, with a view to the sea and/or our scented, colorful and bountiful garden for the enjoyment of all of your senses. Our goal is to provide an ideal Croatia holiday for every guest, and this is how we do it.
In the morning, wake up to the lively chirping of the birds. Start your day with a cup of freshly brewed coffee, sipped slowly while sitting outside on the balcony, looking out to the sea or our garden buzzing with bees.
After the easy-going morning, take a 5-minute walk to the Tisno pebble beach for a refreshing swim in the crystal clear water. Let your spirit be calmed by the smell of salty water mixed with pine tree sap and the sound of Dalmatian crickets.
If you prefer a more active vacation, we offer tips for biking, hiking, or water sports, allowing you to explore the nearby magical coves and other hidden treasures of Nature.
At night, take a stroll around the narrow, cobblestone streets of Tisno, walk up to one of the churches on the hill and enjoy the full panoramic view of the city at night. Close your day with crawling under the soft cotton sheets, and let the lullaby of the Dalmatian crickets sing you to sleep.
Our apartments are equipped with cotton sheets, bath towels and kitchen towels for each guest, washed in a scent-free eco detergent. Each apartment has a wifi, a TV and a desk. For families with small children, we can place outlet covers upon request.
Each kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator and a stove, providing our guests with the opportunity to prepare their own meals, easily and efficiently. There is also an assortment of gadgets from pots and pans, quality knives and other necessary utensils and condiments (locally made olive oil, salt, pepper, vinegar, sugar, coffee, dish detergent).
HOW TO GET TO US
BY BUS
Croatia has an excellent intercity bus system. Check out for intercity bus destinations.
To get to us by bus, your destination city is either Sibenik or Vodice.
From Sibenik, a local bus drives to Tisno several times a day. Ask us for the local bus schedule!
Visiting Krka and Plitvice National Parks by bus
With GetByBus you can take a day trip to see Krka National Park, and then another bus to the Plitvice National Park.
Another way to get to Plitvice National Park is by bus from Zadar.

Our family comprises a human, 2 dogs and our property managers. In 2017, I moved from the beautiful mountains of North Carolina and started to build this unique vacation experience based on my skills and hobbies. Born and raised in Croatia, I returned home after living in the US for 2 decades. My passions lie in creating a sustainable lifestyle and unique guest stays by growing our own food, making our own body care products from locally collected medicinal plants, decorating our apartments with upcycled art, sharing meals over a bonfire and hiking with our guests.
I chose to settle down on the Dalmatian coast for the richness of its islands and inlets, its healthy cuisine based on fish and vegetables, and numerous pristine beach coves, walking, and biking routes. Tisno attracted me with its slow lifestyle and small-town feeling; its amenities being within walking distance from our house; and plenty of nature trails near us. I love to take nature walks and explore our neighborhood with my two dogs, Amali and Rudi, or hike the forest and mountains of our beautiful planet Earth.
We believe in creating a care-free, eco-friendly, and comfortable home away from home for our guests, a principle we use to guide us in how we name and decorate our apartments. We make ourselves available to our guests to fulfill whatever needs they have, from suggesting local restaurants, natural and cultural places to explore, or sharing a cup of coffee in our yard. We are all about creating a quiet and relaxing vacation spot for our guests.
We work in harmony with nature and local people, growing our own food, cooking it with love, feeding all living beings, and living simply. When we are not digging or growing, we are hiking, reading, loving on our two furry kids, or just relaxing on one of our favorite nature beaches.
