Accommodation above Art Gallery - in the Cotswolds
Unlock the door to a secret wooden staircase, that ascends to private, light airy, accommodation with solid oak flooring, and wonderful views. Freshly decorated and dressed off with a collection of Samantha Dadd's original paintings and art books.
The space is flexible for a family, friends sharing, or a couple can treat themselves to the whole space.
It works perfectly as creative space to work, a base for walking/cycling, or a place from which to explore other Cotswold villages and towns.
Your property:
A shared laundry room is available for use with washing machine, tumble dryer, iron and ironing board. Please let your host know in advance if you wish to use this facility so that you can be given a key.
The accommodation is designed to be flexible to suit individual parties needs. For parties who like to eat in there is a dining table for 4 in the bedroom that leads off the breakfast/picnic preparation area.. (NB: this room can be set up as a sitting room for smaller parties). Additionally the second bedroom has a desk with a screen that you can plug a laptop into.
The shower room, WC and wash hand basin is stocked with wonderfully scented, home-made, complimentary toiletries and towels are provided.
There is also a lovely outside seating area, with a table and 4 chairs, that you have sole use of during your stay. The views from which can be seen in the photographs.
FREE parking space is available directly opposite the house, under the Horse Chestnut tree. There is also a charging pod for EV's available to guests for a small standard rate fee.
NB: The whole place has recently been beautifully refurbished by the Artist in a tasteful, cottage style which is perfectly in keeping with the building and surrounding area.
The whole space is private with its own lockable front door at the base of the stairs. Access is through the Art Gallery. You will be given your own key to that as well as to the accommodation above so that you can come and go as you please.
Bedrooms:
You can choose between a double or two singles in the bedrooms but you need to let us know in advance.
There is a charging pod for electric cars upon request. There is a standard charge of £20 for its use
.
We can also offer the use of a free travel cot - please let us know that you would like it set up for you at time of booking. There is also a changing table and toy box in the bedroom.
For longer stays, there is a shared, fully equipped laundry room, with washer and dryer, available. Please let me know in advance if you might need that facility.
Please note this property does not have any cooking facilities. It does however have a fridge with freezer compartment, coffee machine, a kitchen sink, chopping boards, knives, crockery, cutlery etc., and work area to prepare breakfasts and packed lunches.
Plenty of maps are provided for wonderful local walks and general information including recommended cafes and restaurants.
