General
Farm and its outbuilding in a small hidden valley, far from the crowds, 5km from all shops and services.
Two lodgings surrounded by nature, at the end of a dead end road, in the Ballons des Vosges regional natural park, ideally located near the Mille Étangs plateau in Haute-Saône, Alsace and the Belfort region.
House (the Annex) and apartment (the Charri) in an old Vosges farm from 1701, renovated with local, healthy and environmentally friendly materials. Our ecological lodges are well equipped, have all the comfort with a natural decor. The prices indicated include linen, electricity, water, heating, gas and tourist tax. Independent entrances, terrace and parking.
We welcome people without a car – The nearest train station is in Remiremont (22 km). There is a bus service to Saulx – Rupt sur Moselle, (3km) from “Le Haut Pré”. For cyclists there is a greenway from Remiremont to Saulx. From Saulx, it is a short distance on foot or by bike.
Cultural visits (Théâtre du Peuple, etc.), unusual visits (16th century mines, etc.), hikes in the mountains, on stubble and in the forest, in the nature reserve, easy for families or for experienced athletes, on foot, by bike or by mountain bike. . Lots of walks, in still wild nature, departing from the gîte. Do not hesitate to ask us for advice.
People also come to Haut Pré to relax by the stove, or on the terrace.
The Charri

Independent electric beds, walk-in shower, fully equipped kitchen, flat screen, wood stove, sunny terrace on one level with the accommodation, sliding doors.

The Annex
Independent house of 100m2, on 3 levels, with private terrace and garden. The cottage can accommodate up to 6 people.
On the ground floor the kitchen, toilet and laundry room.
On the first floor a bedroom with 2 single beds, bathroom with shower cubicle and dry toilet, living room with sofa bed, a large veranda and its breathtaking view of the valley, the terrace extended by the garden.
In the second bedroom with double bed, bathtub, toilet.
Ecological renovation with natural and healthy materials (local wood, wood wool, hemp, lime, VOC-free paints), Heating using a wood stove.
Our prices are ALL INCLUSIVE: water, electricity, gas, firewood and beds made upon your arrival.

Laurent and Treacle have training as teachers and a background as globetrotters. Having converted to the world of tourism, Treacle worked several summers at the reception center of the Ballons des Vosges Regional Natural Park. Laurent was interested in archeology and participated in several excavations for Les Mynes de Thillot. More recently, Laurent was a guide in the mines.
