Nestled in a stunning valley on the edge of Swiss Normandy, Eco-Gites of Lenault is a haven of tranquilly. Relax in peace, surrounded by countryside and wildlife or head out head out and explore all Normandy has to offer - the choice is yours.

Eco-Gites of Lénault was built in a barn, built in the 1820s, which had not been used for many years. We have used as many sustainable products as possible to build and fit out the gite and give it a new lease of life. It is extremely well insulated, making it warm in winter and cool in summer.
It is situated in a rural location and is ideal for those who enjoy being in the countryside when on holiday. A vast network of footpaths can be accessed from our gate with footpath GR221 and Le Rando des Haras passing our gate which makes the gite a great location for walkers and cyclists. Guests can have access to a workspace to maintain bicycles and a covered area to store them in overnight. For those wishing to explore the countryside on horseback there is a riding stables just a few kms away where you will also be able to keep your own horse should you wish (grass and stable liveries available).
If you wish to totally relax without leaving the gite there are comfy sofas and the woodburner for winter visits and sun loungers garden furniture for summer visits. A large play area and play barn including slide, swing, trampoline and toys will keep children happy and everyone can play boules. The gite is also equipped with a large number of books, toys and games for all ages.
Dog lovers will love Will to Go, a husky centre less than a kilometre away on foot (4 km by road), where the owner offers husky sled rides through the local countryside and many other dog-related activities.
The nearest bakery is less than 5 km away, easily accessible by bike. For all other shopping, towns are 10-15kms away.
For outdoor activities, we are a short drive from Clécy and Pont d'Ouilly for kayaking, summer dry toboggan runs, rock climbing, Via Ferrata, etc. For the more adventurous, we are also close to the Viaduc de la Souleuvre for bungee jumping, giant swings, zip lines and a barefoot garden planted with local plants.
In the grounds surrounding the gite we have created a large play area to encourage the children to be outdoors as much as possible (there is no TV but there is WiFi). The grounds also include areas left to nature, our large organic vegetable garden (produce can be bought if available) and home to our poultry and eco-friendly lawnmowers, i.e. our two pigs.
