This site is situated in a place steeped in history: Le Cun was one of the emblematic sites of the Larzac struggle, a symbol of attachment to the land, freedom, solidarity, social and technological ingenuity, and environmental preservation.
This eco-friendly campsite, surrounded by nature and 16 km from Millau, offers natural pitches as well as unique and comfortable eco-accommodations: domes, wooden huts, yurts, and nomadic tents. All these accommodations are equipped with comfortable beds and offer the unique experience of sleeping in a room in the forest, close to the trees and the silence.
The natural environment is particularly well-preserved: no major roads nearby, rich biodiversity, and an absence of light pollution allow for breathtaking views of the night sky and the Milky Way.
Crossed by the GR71D long-distance hiking trail, the campsite is also an ideal starting point for hikes and walks or bike rides on the Larzac plateau. Visitors can freely explore the trails, observe the local flora and fauna, stroll down to the riverbank, enjoy the region's cultural and sporting activities, or simply take time to relax and recharge.
Several communal areas are available: large tables under the pine trees or picnic shelters under string lights, a games area (for pétanque, molkky, slacklining, badminton, table tennis, etc.), a relaxation area in the shade of the trees, a space for children to freely build dens, and a sanitary block with a kitchenette and dishwashing facilities. The size of the site, however, ensures peace, privacy, and tranquility for everyone.
