Le Moulin de Dun is an eco-village located in the Douctouyre Valley between Mirepoix and Foix.
The property offers various spaces, some of which are rented year-round, others used for different types of activities (workshops, shows, concerts, WWOOFing, or other community events), and finally, the cottage itself, available for seasonal rental.
The cottage is situated in a beautiful building that was once a mill, on a 3000m² wooded plot, with the Douctouyre River flowing at the bottom of the property.
The cottage is accessed via a wooden terrace overlooking the garden.
You will have the option of parking your vehicle in the garden near the cottage entrance. The house stays cool in summer thanks to its very thick walls.
For cooler seasons, a wood-burning stove provides heating.
Special attention is paid to respecting the environment at this property. The provided cleaning products are eco-friendly, and the cosmetic products (soap/shampoo, etc.) used must also be eco-friendly (more can be provided upon request).
The cottage uses dry toilets both inside and outside.
Outside, you can enjoy the following spaces: Private spaces: a sunny south-facing terrace, a shaded area under the linden tree with a table and chairs.
There are also shared spaces with other guests at the eco-village: river access, an indoor swimming pool, a solar shower, and dry toilets.
Inside: As described: 3 bedrooms, one of which is an adjoining room; a bathroom with a bathtub and one with a shower; a fully equipped kitchen; and a large living room.

Le gîte fonctionne avec des toilettes sèches à l'intérieur comme à l'extérieur. Une attention particulière est portée au respect de l'environnement sur ce lieu. Les produits ménagers fournis sont écologiques et les produits cosmétiques (savon/shampooing...) utilisés doivent l'être également (possibilité d'en mettre à disposition si besoin, sur demande).
