Escape to The Land of Eve, a lovingly restored stone house nestled in the peaceful countryside of Friol, Lugo. Over seven years, we carefully brought this historic home back to life, blending old-world charm with modern comforts.
Here, life moves in harmony with nature—away from the rat race, surrounded by fresh air, and nourished by the land. Our passion for organic living is reflected in our thriving eco-garden, where we grow what we consume, embracing a truly sustainable way of life. We also have an abundant herb garden, which we invite guests to use consciously to prepare tinctures, teas, balms !
The Land of Eve is a spacious stone house designed for comfort and tranquility. It features three elegant double en-suite bedrooms, a cozy single bedroom, and a charming twin bedroom, offering plenty of space for families or groups.
At the heart of the house is a large lounge, where a log burner adds warmth and ambiance, while expansive windows frame breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside.
A highlight of the property is the converted barn, now a stunning kitchen-diner with soaring ceilings. Here, guests can experience the tradition of Galician cooking with a wood-burning kitchen, creating meals infused with the essence of slow living.
Step outside into a vast garden that invites relaxation and connection with nature. Beyond the open space, a lush forest awaits—perfect for forest bathing, where you can unwind, breathe deeply, and embrace the serenity of the natural world.
A short camino away from the property (around 15mins) through forest you will come to a flowing body of water where you can bathe, cleanse and indulge in some cold water therapy.
