Our off grid villas are beautiful, cozy, clean, with pool and sauna, in the middle of incredible Alpujarras. Our association focuses on the regeneration of our local ecosystem, working with agroforestry, education, land reclamation, and the arts.
Finca la Herradura is part of an interconnected ecosystem of residential education, land reclamation, agro-ecology, and the arts. Our holiday rentals allow us to invite the outside work into our ecosystem, and provide material support to allow us to continue facilitating this work.
Our rental facilities are extremely cozy, clean, and situated in the heart of the wild landscape of the Alpujarras. We are proud to be off-grid and relying on ecological sources of water, energy, and materials.
The houses we offer for rental include all kitchen necessities, cozy sleeping and congregating spaces, and beyond. We fill our spaces with creativity and life, and make sure that the people who come to stay here feel at home while they are on an adventure.
Our association, Unión de los Rios aims to create enabling conditions for the emergence of a situated, complex, life-supporting natureculture; a living tapestry woven from the fabric of the land by all of its inhabitants and visitors, human and more-than-human. We are especially interested to host people who are connected to our vision and who want to join us in building regenerative systems for our world.
