JENNERBAHN
No matter what time of year - treat yourself to a moment at the summit of the Jenner and enjoy the breathtaking view from above of the Königssee and all of Berchtesgaden.
The new lift will open in autumn 2018 and we are already looking forward to the upcoming possibilities in the alpine terrain together with you.
From the mountain station on Jenner, e.g. the Stahlhaus or the Schneibsteinhaus are easy to reach and also suitable for children. We recommend sturdy shoes for this.
FAMILY EXCURSION TO THE WATZMANN THERME
The Watzmann-Therme is only a 15-minute walk from the Hotel EDELWEISS. Children are especially happy with a visit to the thermal baths: the 80-meter-long black hole slide ensures exuberant slide fun and your little water rats can splash around and play in the children's pool.
Families with small children will find their own parent-child area in the Watzmann-Therme, which also makes the very little ones happy on a family outing.
JOINT EXCURSION TO THE BERCHTESGADEN SALT MINE
The whole family will be delighted by the tour of the "Salt Time Travel" through the Berchtesgaden salt mine (right next to the Watzmanntherme). Because the family excursion to the salt mine is a combination of fun and teaching Slides or a boat trip across the Spiegelsee.

The city of Salzburg is only about 30 minutes by car from Berchtesgaden and has a lot to offer. The Haus der Natur and the toy museum are particularly suitable destinations for families.
