Veggie holiday apartment in a wonderful secluded location in the Bavarian Forest Nature Park.
Our 44 sqm veggie holiday apartment is located on the edge of the forest in the Bavarian Forest Nature Park. Enjoy the outdoors and the 4000 sqm garden while enjoying breakfast on the terrace. The apartment features a fully equipped kitchen for preparing vegetarian or vegan meals. If you wish, you can also use the herbs from the raised bed or snack on berries in the garden. The entire apartment is very comfortably furnished and is ecologically heated with a heat pump. Although we live in a secluded location, you can sometimes hear surrounding noises – depending on the wind direction. From the property, you can also enjoy wonderful stargazing. In addition to our garden, our guests especially love the beautiful mixed forest that borders our apartment.
If you wish, you can start hiking or exploring nature by bike right from the front door. Want to go higher? How about a hike in the mountains of the Bavarian Forest or in the Bavarian Forest National Park, just 30 km away? In the border region with the Czech Republic, along the former Iron Fence, there are wonderful patches of almost untouched nature and very special places. There are also ski resorts nearby where you can enjoy cross-country or downhill skiing. Those who prefer warmer weather can hike along the steep slopes of the Danube, an important nature reserve with an almost Mediterranean climate. There are also numerous swimming lakes nearby.
Do you love culture? The charming little town of Waldkirchen, with its well-preserved city walls, invites you to discover its important role on the medieval trade route "Goldener Steig." The three-river city of Passau, with its historic old town, narrow alleys, and the imposing Oberhaus Fortress, is also not to be missed.
Thanks to the guest card, you can use most buses for free. Although it's difficult to get here without a car, there are great bus routes, especially from Waldkirchen, and even a bus with a bike trailer.
