Our small one-room apartment is surrounded by greenery. Lovingly furnished, it's ideal for two people to relax or explore the surrounding area. The Teutoburg Forest is nearby.
The apartment has a double bed (160 x 200 cm), a kitchenette equipped with everything you need, and a small table with two chairs. The living room is heated only by a stove (wood is plentiful). The bathroom has a heated towel rail. Next to the bathroom with a shower is a small storage room with shelves and a clothes rack.
In summer, a garden table with two chairs is located in front of the door. The apartment is located in an extension to our house and is surrounded by a forest and garden with a stream (8,000 sq m).
Detmold is a beautiful little town with many cultural offerings.
The Teutoburg Forest is very close, and the European Cycle Route R1 runs right past the house.
There is a large outdoor swimming pool nearby.
Upon request, we can offer yoga or color-feeling, as well as permaculture workshops...

Smoking is not permitted in the apartment.
We are always available to provide tips and information.
We have two cats. Therefore, unfortunately, we cannot accommodate people with severe cat allergies. (Although cats are not allowed in the apartment, we cannot guarantee a 100% cat-free environment due to, for example, drying laundry in our attic or guests allowing cats into the vacation rental.)
Dogs are not allowed in the apartment.
In the apartment, you will find an information folder with many tips for activities in the area.
Directions
Address: Schwarzenbrinker Straße 64, 32758 Detmold-Heidenoldendorf
Since Schwarzenbrinker Straße is closed to traffic in the middle, access is only possible from the south via Plantagenweg. If your navigation system directs you from the north via Bielefelder Straße or from the west via Albert-Schweizer-Straße, this will unfortunately not lead you to your destination.
Coming from the south, our entrance is directly behind the intersection with the R1 bike path (Birkendamm / Albert-Schweizer-Straße). The house number is on a large boulder. The path curves down the hill to the left. The entrance is a bit dark at night; once you reach the bottom, the lights on the house turn on via motion sensors.
The nearest bus stop is "Begemann" (route 701). From there, it's a 5-minute walk along the Albert-Schweizer-Straße bike path.

Cancellations are free of charge up to 15 days before arrival. For cancellations made between 14 and 8 days before arrival, 50% of the rental price and the final cleaning fee will be refunded. For cancellations made 7 days before arrival, only the final cleaning fee will be refunded.
