Welcome & Meet, Rest & Relax – Our guest accommodations offer flexible stays and invite you to both joyful gatherings and quiet relaxation. We offer stays in simple, well-maintained guest rooms as well as in natural surroundings.
Seasonality – Like our garden, the guesthouse is also shaped by the seasons. From April to October, Mucherwiese is open to holidaymakers. During the winter months, we expand our farm community and offer the accommodation as winter quarters for guests who are helping out for longer periods.
Gentle Tourism – Surrounded by nature in the heart of a small garden farm, you can discover and playfully experience the environment, find peace, enjoy beauty, and feel free – side by side and in harmony with its inhabitants.
Farm Holidays – It's especially exciting for children to experience how an organic farm works. During our regular farm days, every guest is invited to participate or, if they wish, to help out in the garden at other times.
Reduced Sensory Delight – Without light and noise pollution, television, or constant cell phone reception, you can find peace and quiet, spaces for relaxation, inspiration, and connection.
The Good Things Are Close at Hand – The Siebengebirge Nature Reserve can be explored on foot directly from the gates of Mucherwiese.
Activities
Nature and Culture – Surrounded by forest, meadows, and pastures, yet close to the city. Mucherwiese is the ideal starting point for hikes in the expansive Siebengebirge and Westerwald regions, as well as for exploring the diverse cultural offerings of Bonn, Cologne, and the surrounding Rhineland.
On the Farm
Play and Relax – Table tennis, campfires, breaks, reading, lingering, strolling, swinging, sandbox, building teepees, or exploring and experimenting with the garden and the extensive grounds.
Experiencing Nature – is the treasure of our place. Numerous paths wind through the garden and grounds.
Studio – The former studio of the artist and farm founder Walther Kniebe can be used for your own artistic pursuits and studies by arrangement. A selection of Kniebe's works, as well as a beautiful mineral collection, can be viewed here. A small library with primarily anthroposophical literature is also available.
In the surrounding area:
Forest – Our local mountain, Himmerich, as well as other volcanic mountains of the Siebengebirge range, such as Drachenfels (with the nearby Drachenburg Castle), Löwenburg, and Petersberg, or Leyberg in the Lower Westerwald, can be explored on the extensive, marked trails of the nature reserve (maps available). The famous Rheinsteig long-distance hiking trail passes directly by the farm.
Water – The Rhine River, with its cycle paths, excursion boats, beer gardens, and the family-friendly Grafenwerth Island outdoor swimming pool (3 km), is easily accessible. The Blauer See natural swimming lake (14 km) is also nearby.
Excursions – The Rolandseck Wildlife Park (located on the left bank of the Rhine), the thermal baths in Bad Hönningen (20 km), and Maria Laach Abbey (42 km) are all worthwhile destinations.
Museums – Culture enthusiasts will find a diverse range of museums in and around Bonn and beyond.

Payment and Cancellation Terms
PAYMENT After accepting the offer via kontakt@mucherwiese.de, the stated terms and conditions come into effect and the booking is considered binding. Upon receipt of the invoice, the total amount due must be paid to the association's bank account within one week, or, in the case of short-notice bookings, no later than before the start of your stay. IBAN DE80370502990000133124 For bookings of one week or longer, we offer payment in installments. From the second reminder onwards, we reserve the right to charge a late payment fee. Subsequent Price Adjustment Due to the current increase in energy costs, the Mucherwiese e.V. association reserves the right to subsequently charge a flat-rate energy surcharge. This price increase is only permissible if: it is communicated in writing to the last known address no later than three weeks before the start of the stay; it does not exceed 5% of the originally agreed rental price; the booking was made at least four months before the start of the trip. CANCELLATION In the event of cancellation, a tiered cancellation fee will be charged based on the expenses incurred: If you cancel in a timely manner – up to four weeks before the start of the stay – a processing fee of €25 will be charged. If you cancel later – up to two weeks before the start of the stay – we charge 50% of the rental price. For cancellations made later than two weeks before the start of the stay, we charge 100% of the rental price, and a refund is no longer possible. We will refund the rental price, less a €25 processing fee, if the accommodation is booked at short notice. Cancellations must be submitted in writing to kontakt@mucherwiese.de and are only valid if submitted in writing. We recommend taking out travel cancellation insurance! In the event of a cancellation by the landlord, the following conditions apply: Bookings may be cancelled if there are important reasons beyond the landlord's control, or if the non-profit association Mucherwiese e.V. unexpectedly needs to make its guest apartments available to people in social need in accordance with its charitable purpose. We will inform you of any such changes immediately! Cancellations must be submitted in writing to the last known address and are only valid if submitted in writing. If the customer cannot be provided with suitable alternative accommodation on site, any payments already made will, of course, be credited or refunded. Furthermore, no further claims can be made against the Mucherwiese e.V. association. By mutual agreement, cancellations and their conditions may differ from the otherwise applicable terms and conditions. INSURANCE & LIABILITY We are a farm with domestic and farm animals, wild animals, ornamental, useful, and medicinal plants. The grounds are diverse, and machinery and equipment are in daily use. We ask that you treat all living beings, residents, grounds, and property with care. The non-profit organization Mucherwiese e.V. is liable only for gross negligence and willful misconduct. Arrival, departure, and your stay on-site are at your own expense and risk. Dear parents and guardians: Please ensure the safety of the children and young people. Supervision and responsibility lie with the accompanying adults.
