Holidays with a good feeling at Janbeck*s means: Staying overnight in a climate-positive manner, enjoying the peace and quiet on our idyllic farm from 1789, sleeping well in modern beds, drinking coffee in the cottage garden or having a picnic on the nearby beach. Our comfortable rooms invite you to a relaxed, sustainable holiday. Very high in the north of Germany, just before the Danish border, take a sharp right and then continue towards the Baltic Sea, there is the beautiful Bay of Gelting. There is no boring landscape here. It's hilly and curvy here. Our capital is the beautiful, almost natural landscape. If you appreciate that, you've come to the right place. There is a lot to see here in every season: flocks of birds and wild horses on the Geltinger Birk, fishing villages, the Schlei, Flensburg and Denmark are not far away either. Discover one of the most beautiful corners of the north on foot, by bike or boat.
Our special features are our ecological concept:
We are not an organic hotel, but a FAIRhaus very much: as a VIABONO-certified company, waste separation and the conservation of resources are a matter of course for us. We offer you various residential units (from rooms to holiday apartments) integrated into an ecological concept with as many circuits as possible: we generate electricity with CHP and sun, use the water several times and operate our own, fully biological sewage treatment plant. We offer house guests with an electric car the opportunity to charge their electric car with us. We weed the weeds where necessary, by hand or remove them in the courtyard with a small harrow. You can live with us in bright, Scandinavian-style living units with extra-long beds, in which even tall people can feel really comfortable with organic and fair-trade bed linen. We are a member of the climate hotels and have our CO2 footprint certified by CO2OL. You spend the night with us more than climate-neutral, because we not only help to plant trees elsewhere. We have taken care of more Biodib'versity and built a small eco-paradise for bees and other animals. You are allowed to explore it. This is how you spend your holiday with a good feeling... and of course you can also have breakfast with us, even in our wilderness. Vegetarian or vegan as you like. We are committed to the region and love short distances. We do as much as possible ourselves and can therefore respond to almost every guest request. That's just fun for us and we can tell a lot of stories about it.
