We're so happy to have you here. Villa Bruno is a solar-powered retreat tucked into the jungle, designed for comfort, sustainability, and connection to nature. This guide will help you make the most of your stay.
Electricity & Hot Water
Electricity is 100% solar-powered. Please be mindful of energy usage, especially on cloudy days.
Hot Water also comes from a solar heater. It may take a little time to reach the villa—thank you for your patience while it warms up.
Water System
Kitchen Taps:
The left or labeled tap (please check signs) provides drinking water, sourced from a local spring and filtered through an extensive, chlorine-free system.
The other tap provides rainwater for utility purposes (like washing dishes or rinsing veggies).
All water is safe for general use, but only drink from the designated drinking water tap.
Internet & Connectivity
WiFi is powered by satellite. It's fast enough for YouTube and general browsing.
Signal strength may vary slightly in different areas of the house. If you're having trouble, try moving closer to the router.
Entry & Locks
Villa Bruno uses keyless entry with a two-lock system.
When the sun is out, the door may expand slightly and feel tight. After entering your code:
Pull the door toward you.
Firmly press the button above the handle to release the lock.
In Case You Need Us
There is very little GSM signal at the property. Regular phone calls won’t work—but WhatsApp does!
