SOL DE MINCA NATURAL RESERVE “Your portal to connect with nature”: This is the life project of a multicultural family that dedicates their days and focuses their efforts on living in harmony with the earth and their communities. Since 2012 we have been working to conserve nature, a mission that is possible thanks to the support of our visitors and the development of ecological and sustainable tourism.
Accommodation information
You can stay in cabins made of earth, sand and mud. This type of natural constructions will make you feel comfortable and in harmony with nature, in a rustic, original and different place from the others. Our buildings are made by hand, in an artisanal way and based on the principles of bio-construction, using mostly materials that we obtain from the region. Clay is our inspiration and we seek to transform it into art to beautify our constructions. We have cabins, with one and two bedrooms. Our toilets are composting (they do not use water). Our showers are ecological and we treat the water with natural systems in which we use plants that clean the water, ensuring a lower impact on the environment. The nature reserve is designed under the principles of permaculture, an integrated and holistic design system, applied to the creation of a new culture that can remain in time and space, protecting the environment and energy resources.
Area information
You will be able to walk paths within the forest, learn about organic plants and crops, visit spaces that will connect you with nature and experience a different way of life. The great diversity of birds are the music and colors of the place. The proximity to the road will allow you to feel in the middle of the forest, with the town just a 15-minute walk away. The right distance between tranquility and closeness.
