About Us:
Hello! We are Andrés and Naty, the founders of Almaloca. We are a couple of travelers, regenerative architects, and innovators passionate about creative projects that generate real value in the region. Our life in the "Little Yellow House" is an exercise in coherence: we seek to live in harmony with the mountains, practice yoga and meditation, and deeply value healthy eating and tranquility. We are motivated to connect with free-spirited individuals who seek to positively impact the world through the exchange of knowledge and collaboration in conscious businesses.
Our Project:
Almaloca is a regenerative community and cluster that seeks to strengthen territories organically and cooperatively. We are not just a place to stay; we are a living laboratory where regeneration is the primary asset. We operate on a 9-hectare plot of land undergoing active reforestation, transforming a physical space into a hub of biodiversity and well-being. Our goal is to demonstrate that economic success can be directly proportional to the health of the ecosystem we inhabit.
The Setting:
We are located in the Astilleros district of San Antonio de Prado, just 30 minutes from Medellín. At 2,300 meters above sea level, the noise of the city fades away, giving way to the songs of motmots and hummingbirds. The project is situated in a strategic green corridor, surrounded by the Astilleros Forest Reserve and near Cerro del Padre Amaya, protected areas with immense archaeological and biodiversity riches. It is a place to breathe fresh air, walk among the clouds, and connect with the essence of the land.
Living at Almaloca Luciernagas is to immerse yourself in a harmonious contrast: the wisdom of the Antioquian mountains and the cutting edge of the regenerative economy. Here, cultural exchange manifests itself in three dimensions:
• Rural Authenticity and Local Knowledge: We are part of the Astilleros district, an authentic and welcoming farming community. You'll witness how life unfolds naturally, sharing with local farmers who are now guardians of the land. Our table is nourished by what they sow, allowing you to experience mountain culture through its flavors and traditions.
• Innovation and Co-creation Lab: As a regenerative cluster, you'll interact with "Business Travelers," entrepreneurs and creatives seeking to transform the world. The exchange here is also intellectual and professional; it's a space for peer-to-peer mentoring and the co-creation of conscious businesses amidst nature.
• Connection with Biodiversity and Heritage: You'll be surrounded by the Astilleros Forest Reserve and Cerro del Padre Amaya, places of immense richness that are home to more than 2,000 bird species and 32 archaeological sites. La Casita Amarilla (The Little Yellow House) is much more than just accommodation; it is the symbol of our beginning and the refuge where the magic of Almaloca was born. It is a simple and deeply welcoming house, inherited from the previous owner, which we have transformed into a home full of light and purpose for the start of this regeneration project.

Payment and Cancellation Terms
Payment: A deposit of COP 500,000 (approx. USD 125) is required via bank transfer, Nequi, or Wompi for Visa and Mastercard credit card payments. Use the payment link (https://checkout.wompi.co/l/VPOS_Je7yfm) to secure your reservation and guarantee your spot. The remaining balance is due in cash or via bank transfer upon arrival at Casita Amarilla. Cancellation: Free cancellation up to 7 days prior to arrival (full refund of the deposit). If you cancel within 7 days of arrival, the deposit will be allocated to our Community Regeneration Fund (purchase of native trees for the reserve), and you will receive a credit towards a future stay. Cancellations made less than 3 days in advance or no-shows will result in the deposit being donated to the active reforestation of the Andean forest.

Almaloca es una comunidad y un cluster regenerativo que busca fortalecer los territorios de manera orgánica y cooperativa. No somos solo un lugar de estancia; somos un laboratorio de vida donde la regeneración es el activo principal. Operamos en un terreno de 9 hectáreas en proceso de reforestación activa, transformando un espacio físico en un nodo de biodiversidad y bienestar. Nuestro objetivo es demostrar que el éxito económico puede ser directamente proporcional a la salud del ecosistema que habitamos. REGLAS DEL ANFITRIÓN: Protocolo de Co-creación Regenerativa Bienvenido a la Casita Amarilla. Al hospedarte aquí, no eres un huésped más: eres un Co-creador Regenerativo. Estas reglas no son restricciones, son acuerdos de alianza entre tu energía vital y la regeneración de este territorio. Compromisos de Estancia: 1. Ritmo Consciente vs. Consumo Desmedido Respetamos los ciclos naturales: las actividades ruidosas finalizan a las 9:00 PM para no perturbar la fauna nocturna (barranqueros, colibríes y luciérnagas). Las mañanas comienzan con el canto de la montaña (5:30 AM): te invitamos a sincronizar tu reloj biológico, no a usar despertadores agresivos. 2. Conexión Real vs. Conexión Digital Ofrecemos WiFi para tu trabajo remoto, pero decretamos "Zonas de Silencio Digital" en áreas comunes para preservar la contemplación. 3. Huella Regenerativa (No Solo Neutral) Tu estadía de $1.500.000 COP se destina íntegramente al Fondo de Regeneración Astilleros: cada noche equivale a X m² de bosque andino restaurado con trazabilidad GPS. Al finalizar tu estancia recibirás: Certificado de Impacto AlmaLoca + Coordenadas exactas de tu árbol/parcela sembrada. 4. Soberanía Alimentaria y Red Local Valoramos la alimentación saludable: nuestra mesa se nutre de lo que siembran los campesinos de la Vereda Astilleros (trazabilidad km 0). Prohibido el uso de plásticos de un solo uso en zonas comunes; operamos sistema de residuos orgánicos para compostaje comunitario. 5. Comunidad vs. Individualismo Puedes participar en los espacios de Conexión": espacio de intercambio de saberes (peer-to-peer mentoring) con otros viajeros empresariales. 6. Perfilar tu ADN Viajero Al llegar, identificarás tu perfil en nuestra Ruta del Viajero Empresarial: ¿Eres Sembrador (Ideador), Arquitecto (Desarrollador) o Transformador (Inversionista)? Esto determinará cómo co-crearás durante tu estadía.
