El Cielo Biohospedaje is a small eco-lodge in the mountains of Tena, Colombia, created for conscious travelers seeking slow, meaningful experiences in connection with nature.
Built with guadua bamboo and wood following bioconstruction principles, our architecture integrates into the landscape rather than imposing on it. Natural ventilation, daylight optimization, and passive design reduce energy consumption while enhancing a deep sense of connection with the surroundings.
We operate under a low-density tourism model that protects the ecosystem and preserves silence. We are not a glamping site or a conventional hotel; we are a regenerative hospitality project grounded in simplicity and ecological responsibility.
Water stewardship is central to our philosophy. We use ecological dry composting toilets that significantly reduce water consumption and help close natural cycles responsibly. For us, sustainability is not decorative — it is structural.
The property includes a protected forest trail and two natural lagoons. Here, the main sounds are birds, wind, and trees. Our guests come to disconnect from speed and reconnect with presence.
Our restaurant offers mostly vegetarian cuisine, based on seasonal and locally sourced ingredients, supporting regional producers and reducing food footprint. We also offer a few animal-protein options for those who prefer them.

Payment and Cancellation Terms
💳 Payment Policy To confirm your reservation, a 50% deposit is required via bank transfer or secure payment link. The remaining 50% balance is paid on-site at check-in. Your booking is confirmed once the deposit has been received. 📅 Cancellation Policy Free cancellation is available up to 5 days before check-in. For cancellations made less than 5 days before arrival, the deposit is non-refundable.
