Broger’s End was born out of a vision and passion for transforming a rundown old farm into a haven of sustainable living and regenerated native landscape, to be shared with visitors from near and far. 160 acres of peaceful Australian countryside.
Broger’s End is a piece of heaven set on 160 acres in Kangaroo Valley, bordering the Kangaroo River, offering self-catered eco-eclectic luxury accommodation and a peaceful escape from the everyday world!
'The Dairy' was one of the original dairy milking sheds in Upper Kangaroo River. This cottage has been lovingly restored and creatively transformed into luxury accommodation using reclaimed and recycled materials. A luxurious eco-haven for a peaceful escape from the everyday world! The three sets of French doors, which used to allow three cows in to be milked at once, now allow the living area to be opened to the alfresco dining area which is covered by an old wisteria vine. It sleeps up to four people, with a comfortable pillow top queen bed as well as a pullout fully sprung sofa bed in the sitting area. There is an indoor spa bath and separate shower, but for the ultimate bath experience with a difference, why not relax in the outdoor garden bath. There is a rustic wood-fired stove to keep you cozy in The Dairy during winter, and air conditioning to keep the space cool in summer. Facilities in the cottage include linen and towels, free wireless internet, and ceiling fan. The well-appointed kitchen overlooking paddocks will inspire you to create country fare with the fresh produce and fresh eggs. There is an espresso machine stocked with fresh coffee beans.
The Shed is a converted farm shed, which has been beautifully transformed using recycled and reclaimed materials. Entering into The Shed via beautiful vintage doors you find yourself in a large living area that includes a rustic fire place surrounded by comfy lounges and chairs, an 8 seater farmhouse dining table and fully equipped kitchen including a large stove and oven. The kitchen opens onto an outdoor entertaining area and dining space, complete with a wood fire pizza oven and BBQ. There is an outdoor fire pit and outdoor bath just outside The Shed - perfect for adventure seekers. The Shed includes three large bedrooms, two of which have king size beds - both can be made up into two king singles if required. The third room has a queen and single (bunk bed style). Facilities in The Shed include linen and towels, free wireless internet, and air conditioning for summer. There is an espresso machine stocked with fresh coffee beans roasted right here in Kangaroo Valley.
Established walking tracks through varying landscape take you through paddocks, escarpment, rainforest, offering many picnic spots with breathtaking views and abundant wildlife. See kangaroos and wallabies up close in their natural environment! Whether you choose to explore everything the valley has to offer, or to relax in the garden or by the fire with a good book, Broger's End is a wonderful escape.
Broger's End is accredited with EcoTourism Australia. We use solar power and solar hot water, rainwater and composting systems for food scraps and other waste.
