Nestled in the romantic Upper Austrian Danube Valley, located directly on the Danube, you will find our hotel. It has the honor of carrying the same name as well as the place - namely Wesenufer Hotel & Culture Seminar on the Danube, which we perceive as special appreciation and shows the attachment to the place.
The house itself has a more than 300-year history and offers after careful complete renovation 2008 by simple modernity - a successful symbiosis of old and new. An extension of the hotel with the annex "Donaublick" and the renovation of the listed farm building of the former brewery took place in 2013. Since October 1, 2013 are now a total of 49 hotel rooms.
The attractive location offers many recreational activities such as the Danube Cycle Path or the Donausteig and is an ideal starting point for excursions to numerous attractions in the immediate vicinity.
Our hotel is the only one in Austria that offers integrated in a high level of service the active social work. People with mental health difficulties and socially disadvantaged people have little lobby. To feel like a part of society is, for them to do something and get something from her. Through Employment and therapeutic interventions a person can depending on the severity of his illness back to society
