Together, Let’s Change the Way We Travel
Welcome to the Ecobnb affiliate program!
We work with people and organizations that share our commitment to more sustainable tourism that is responsible and respectful of local areas and communities. If you are already part of the program, this guide provides useful information on how to share your affiliate link, direct your audience to Ecobnb, and understand how booking tracking and commissions work.

1. Share Your Affiliate Link
Your affiliate link, provided by Ecobnb, contains a personal code that allows the system to identify traffic coming from your content.
You can share it on your website, blog, newsletter, or social media, including it in articles, travel guides, destination recommendations, or other content relevant to your audience.
You can link not only to the Ecobnb homepage but also to specific pages, directing your readers straight to the destinations or accommodations you want to recommend.

How to Create Additional Affiliate Links
Ecobnb has provided you with a personal affiliate code that you can use to share the homepage or any other page on the website, such as a destination, a search page, or a selection of accommodations.
To create your links, simply add the code you have been given to the end of the URL, following the instructions below.
1. To Share the Ecobnb Homepage
Add ?affiliate=code to the end of the URL.
Example: https://ecobnb.com/?affiliate=code
Of course, replace the word “code” with your personal code provided by Ecobnb.
2. To Share a Specific Page
If the link does not already contain a question mark (?), add ?affiliate=code to the end of the URL.
For example, to share the page dedicated to Tuscany:
https://ecobnb.com/toscana?affiliate=code
3. If the Link Already Contains a Question Mark (?)
If the URL already contains parameters (?), add your affiliate code using the & symbol instead of a second question mark. Simply add &affiliate=code to the end of the URL.
For example, starting with this link: https://ecobnb.it/s/yoga?adults=2&extension=25e3
The affiliate link becomes: https://ecobnb.com/s/yoga?adults=2&extension=25e3&affiliate=code
In all these examples, replace code with the personal code provided by Ecobnb.
Important: Do not modify any other parameters in the URL, and always use your personal code when sharing Ecobnb links so that bookings can be correctly attributed to your affiliate activity.
If you have any questions about creating links, get in touch with us. We’ll be happy to help!
2. How Are Bookings Tracked?
When someone visits Ecobnb through a link containing your affiliate code, the system uses a tracking cookie that remains valid for 60 days.
If a booking is made within this period and is correctly recognized by the system, it can generate a commission for you.
It’s important to know that tracking may depend on browser settings, cookie consent, and other technical factors. For this reason, we cannot guarantee that every visit or booking will always be attributed to the affiliate.
Tip: Use your personal link directly in the content you publish, and check that the URL is correct before sharing it.
3. When Are Commissions Recorded?
Commissions are recorded 3 days after the guest checks out. From that point on, they appear in Ecobnb’s database and can be withdrawn by partners once they reach the minimum threshold of €50.
Commissions are linked to bookings that are actually recognized by the system. A visit or an information request alone does not generate a commission.
4. Where Can You Share Your Link?
You can include it in your articles, travel guides, newsletters, social media posts, or other content relevant to your audience.
For example, you could introduce a lesser-known destination, recommend a selection of environmentally conscious accommodations, or share ideas for more responsible travel.
We encourage you to choose content that reflects our shared values, offering your audience authentic and useful recommendations.
For example, you could:
- introduce a local area through accommodations that care about the environment;
- suggest itineraries and ideas for more sustainable travel;
- share experiences and tips for discovering lesser-known destinations;
- recommend stays that match your readers’ values and interests.
The goal is not simply to share a link, but to help people discover different ways of travelling that are more mindful of the environment and the communities that welcome us.
Yes. You can add your affiliate code to the URL of any Ecobnb page you want to share, making sure that the affiliate parameter is included and that the link works correctly.
The affiliate cookie remains valid for 60 days. Booking attribution still depends on the tracking system functioning correctly and on the program terms.
The commission is recorded 3 days after the guest checks out and can be withdrawn once the minimum threshold of €50 is reached.
Not necessarily. The booking must be eligible and recognized by the system as originating from your affiliate link.
