Officially it begins in Canada, in Vancouver, and then drive along the west coast of the United States. It is an indescribable bike path; 2000 miles of changing and incredible landscapes: high cliffs, sandy beaches of Los Angeles, a strong wind accompany us to discover the Far west. Not to mention crossing the Golden Gate Bridge to get to San Francisco.

And now we explore the US East Coast. This bike path stretches for 4225 km, from the state of Maine to Key West, an island city that is located in the southernmost point of the continental United States, in Florida. Following the bike path will pass from the coast to the country roads, through some pretty challenging stretches.

A circular route to discover the state of Washington and its national parks. The best time to cross it is from March to October; you will reach the 1670 meters of altitude, at the Washington Pass. Along the way there are interesting deviations, to do by ferry, for example, to the islands of San Juan.

With its 4,418 km of track, it is the longest mountain bike route in the world. Starts in Canada and ends in New Mexico, not far from Palomas, one of the border crossings with Mexico. It is considered one of the most incredible adventures that you can do in the US and you can enjoy the most isolated areas of the Rocky Mountains between dirt roads, disused railways and singletrack. Moving on in the states of Montana, Wyoming, Idaho and New Mexico to admire a nature that changes, between forests, mountains and rivers that are home to a rich fauna.

Among the bicycle routes in the US, this is perhaps the most striking: the typical American landscapes joins the history. It starts in Mobile, Alabama and follow the clandestine network of routes used in the nineteenth century by American blacks to escape slavery towards the free states and Canada, through the states of Mississippi, Tennessee, Kentucky, Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania and New York.

We had to close our review with this enchanting road. If you think of a road trip in the US one you think of a coast to coast, perhaps on the magical Route 66. This is the perfect and eco-friendly alternative. A route of 6,809 km that allows to cross the United States, from the Atlantic coast in Virginia, through the heart of the US, over the Rockies, to reach the Pacific in Oregon. A truly unique experience in one of the best bicycle routes of the world.
