The Lifeguard tower is instantly recognizable, thanks to the façades painted by the graffiti artist Edgar Rafael, known local artist. “The subject is a combination of all the features of Tel Aviv. There is a large sun, the iconic clock tower in Jaffa, the profiles of the Bauhaus buildings, the silhouette of the waterfront mansions and a woman with a cocktail.

The project is part of a promotion campaign launched by the Israeli Ministry of Tourism. With Citiesbreak.com, they launched a contest to win a night in this original hotel asking people to post photos of themselves with beach clothes and the words #TAKEME2TELAVIV. The campaign has received more than 300 million views and more than a million clicks. The winners have already been selected and they can now fly to Israel to stay on this really wonderful room, literally overlooking the Mediterranean, that offers every comfort.
