Are you interested in sustainability, tourism and innovations? The conference “Alpine Day of Tourism and Mobility” is waiting for all stakeholders and tourism lovers.

The mobility behaviour of tourists is changing. There are many reasons for it- from trends like internationalization, more short-term trips, through sharing economy up to aging population. Tourism-mobility-day is organized to raise the awareness of soft mobility solutions.

The conference will give you an overview of the needs and challenges of tourism mobility and the importance of cooperation between tourism, transport and environment. The goal is to create mobility solutions to and also within the tourism destinations that are customer friendly, simple, affordable and sustainable.

You will have the chance to discuss the future of touristic mobility and concrete projects implemented in six alpine states together with experts from 7 alpine countries.

The event is organized in cooperation of the Austrian Ministry for Transport, Innovation and Technology, the Austrian Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, Environment and Water Management, Switzerland and the Alpine Convention.
