Federica and Paolo, the owners of the B&B Campo del Mare, invite us into their house, which they are madly in love with. Federica tells us how did their hospitality green begin:
«At one point we started to slow down our travels, we didn’t necessarily feel the need to take a plane to feel the discovery, indeed!
That’s how we began to appreciate a different kind of hospitality, more genuine and attentive to one’s steps and its own tracks. After se saw so many beautiful places we have long dreamed of a house in which to live by stopping the time, or rather create our own living, recovering the experience of simple and intense life.
We found this house made of stone, placed on one of the paths of the Conero Park; we’ve restored in green building with a lot of wood treated to natural and it has been quick to add natural paints and rainwater recovery, synergic vegetable garden and fruit trees, energy saving, organic breakfast with our products or local fair trade, ecological detergents, free use of bikes, possibility to bring pets, hygiene without the mania of disposable or daily change of linen.»
He who choose to sleep in Campo del Mare, in the silence, away from the streets and near the sea, rediscover the taste for a slower life, he discovers that he can live without TV and sometimes even he’ll forget the phone in the room. In Campo del Mare Paolo and Federica live with their two children Leonardo and Rebecca, the maternal grandparents and the little dog Super. They invite you to sit down for breakfast, all together, with delicious homemade organic food. hot bread with sourdough, many yogurts and juices. They invite you to share stories and a glass of wine in the evening after your day of discovery of the Conero Park and the Marche all.
Because things to do and discover in this area are so many, from the beaches of Sirolo to the city of Ancona, from Mount Conero to horseback riding towards Numana and Portonovo and yet, out of the Conero Park, the Leopardi’s library in Recanati, the Mountains Sibillini and the caves of Frasassi.
