We offer an ecologic contemporary villa in the Minho mountains, the perfect space for relaxing and also enjoy the eclectic activities and natural wonders this wild region has to offer. We have everything you need. Take care of yourself and of mother nature. We have an amazing team of hospitality managers, facilitators, regenerative gardeners, a strong local community network, group facilitators and everything you need for a dream stay.
Every room has a magnificent view of the valley and the Lima River and the bedrooms opening onto terraces, offer visitors an enchanting view as well as an infinity pool treated with magnesium.
A large multifunctional room for Yoga or other transformative activities completes the setting. Travessia do Sol serves as a retreat venue.
Various sporting/leisure time activities (hiking, mountain biking, swimming) are available directly from the house.
Breakfast as well as chef service for various diet requirements can be provided on request.
The house is located about 50 minutes by car from the vibrant historic city of Porto and about 30 minutes by car from the historic cities of Braga and Guimaraes. The sea and Viana do Castelo with its beautiful sandy beaches is about 20 minutes away by car.
Besides swimming in the ocean, you can practice surfing and kite surfing and there is a good surf school with bistro and rental on site.
The historical towns of Ponte de Lima and Ponte da Barca as well as the Peneda Gerês National Park, known for its great biodiversity, are nearby and should not be missed.
The world famous Douro wine region is about 1 ½ hours away by car.
Apart from its magnificent views and the many things to do in the area and the region, the site's appeal lies in its permaculture-based ethos: caring for the Earth and its living beings. This project has only recently been established: 200 species of plants have been planted, creating a high level of biodiversity that you can clearly feel.
