Hunza Ecolodge
Hunza Ecolodge is a place for ecotourism which offers glamping, a treehouse and mini camping, or can be rented out as group accommodation, in Southern Hungary. Our 2 ha of land is located at the border of the forest, in a little village, Bodolyabér.
The Hunza ecolodge provides a variety of accommodation possibilities conform to our philosophy: create a truly unique experience close to nature with all modern comfort.
Glamping @ Hunza is renting a luxury, fully furnished tent with a private terrace where you will enjoy the natural beauty at the edge of the forest. Waking up in a Hunza glamping tent, with the sounds of nature and enjoying your daily included breakfast will give you every morning the proper start for a beautiful holiday. You, your partner or your family will never forget this experience!
At the top of our terrain we have built the magnificent Hunza treehouse, called Korowai, which looks out over the valley at one side and trough the canopy at the other side. Like in the Korowai tribe, the treehouse can accommodate a whole family. At Hunza, this includes a nice living space, terrace, kitchenette, shower and dry toilet.
You prefer to create your own camp at the border of the forest? Choose for our camping spots under the trees. We can accommodate vans, campers or tents. Our limited camping spots are spread out over the Hunza terrain so privacy, tranquility and shadow are assured. Camping at the Hunza ecolodge is unforgettable!

Three diverse natural areas, not less than 1200km² is the green blessing of our surroundings. Mecsek hills, Zselic slopes and the riverbanks of the Danube and Dráva guarantee an abundant fauna and flora to discover. Sports and other outdoor activities are found according each ones age and interest. Upon your arrival Hunza will provide all detailed information to get to the hidden treasures of the region.
Roman, Ottoman and Austrian-Hungarian times in history all left a rich historical heritage of arts, architecture and traditions in our region. Pécs is undoubtedly one of the most bursting cultural and artistic centres of Hungary, with on top a Mediterranean atmosphere. In the many villages of the hills arts and traditions are being well kept, a trip through the Baranya will easily let you travel back in time.
Diverse terroirs and a wine tradition which dates back to the Roman era make Hungarian wines well worth to discover. In the surroundings of Hunza dry white wines are made in the Pécs wine region, renowned reds are produced in and around Villány and Szekszárd. The gastronomical centre of Pécs brings all of this together in cozy bars, fine restaurants and many food and wine festivals.
Hungarians know what’s good in life: thermal baths, sauna, massage and a good chat. Since centuries this is part of the Hungarian culture. The many thermal springs have specific beneficial qualifications according to the depth from where the hot water comes and its mineral content. Nowadays most thermal baths have a full wellness complex with all modern facilities and playing possibilities for kids and youngsters.
