In 2018, I installed a modern apartment in an old granite stone barn (1869). I received the existing building fabric and combined it with modern, high-quality furnishings.
In my holiday home in the Apple Barn Cannewitz you will experience a successful combination of historical buildings and modern construction. I used a lot of my own ecological material (e.g. oak wood for the stairs, granite stones and clay tiles for the terrace wall, ash wood for the table, cherry wood for the bedside cabinets). I had the granite stone house completely sandblasted inside and out. This makes the granite stones look as if they were newly built.
The very original holiday home has a lot of comfort. Everything is available, from underfloor heating in all rooms, a Bulthaup kitchen and a fireplace in the large dining room on the ground floor to bedrooms with high-quality beds and TV and a modern bathroom with washing machine on the upper floor. Mobile WiFi is available in all rooms.
In my holiday home you can live in harmony with nature and enjoy the peace and quiet.
My holiday home is connected to the public transport network by a bus connection (Monday – Friday).
In my farm shop, my tenant Janine sells my home-pressed fruit juices. They are made in my fruit press in the other part of the apple barn. In addition to pure apple juices from historical varieties, there are also fruit juices with pears and quinces and home-made cider without additives.
In addition to the rent, I charge a cleaning fee of €75 and a deposit of €200.
