In 2024, Ecobnb celebrated a special milestone: ten years of activity dedicated to promoting sustainable tourism that respects nature, places, and local communities. Ten years during which we have built a community of responsible travelers and eco-friendly accommodations, working to reduce the environmental impact of tourism and enhance the natural and cultural heritage of our country. To celebrate this anniversary, we also launched the Ecobnb Awards, recognitions dedicated to the most eco-sustainable and innovative accommodations in Europe, which we personally awarded in the Marche region.
Today we want to share with you our social report and our 2024 in numbers, highlighting the results achieved and the value created for people, territories, and the environment.

- 1.7 million people visited our site to find sustainable accommodations or to learn about responsible tourism and eco-friendly lifestyles.
- 7.2 million events tracked including searches, page views, and bookings;
- 100,000 nights requested in accommodations within our community.
🏡 Growing eco-sustainable accommodations
- 4,910 registered accommodations in over 90 countries, showing growth compared to the previous year.
- 48 accommodations awarded with Ecobnb Awards in Italy for their sustainability and innovation.
- 6,200 nights booked in Ecobnb’s eco-sustainable accommodations.
🌍 Tangible environmental impact
- 33,761 kilograms of CO2 avoided thanks to eco-friendly bookings.
- 527,275 trees equivalent to the positive impact of bookings.
- Approximately 100,000 m² of forest regenerated in Liguria, reaching its third year of restoration in 2024, thanks to the ancient forests project.

These numbers tell only part of the daily work. Behind them are stories of accommodations, travelers, and local communities who choose to make a difference with us, for a more sustainable and conscious tourism.

- Promotion of slow and sustainable itineraries, away from mass tourism;
- Creation of ancient forests, regenerating abandoned lands and creating natural habitats.

Our commitment to sustainability continues: we aim to expand the network of eco-friendly accommodations, increase the number of conscious travelers, and make a tangible contribution to fighting climate change. Every night spent in an Ecobnb accommodation means less CO₂, more trees saved, and a greener future for everyone.
