The ski area Racines-Giovo is one of the most equipped area in South Tyrol, with 25km of slopes and lifts reaching 2000m high, with the possibility to use the ski bus for free. 50 km of trails through the woods, but also at high altitudes, are waiting for cross-country skiers … The snow is guaranteed!

The beautiful Alpine valleys dotted by mountain huts with their flowered balconies, are the stage of many excursions, from challenging treks on the peaks, to quiet trips, suitable also for your children, to discover the natural beauties of this Alpine Pearl. 4. Discover the World of Ridanna Monteneve Mine
A few kilometers from the Racines Valley, opens Ridanna Valley, land of miners. I recommend you a visit to the open-air museum on the Schneeberg: here the entire production chain of the mine has remained intact, and can be seen and touched ! For about 800 years, thousands of miners have extracted precious minerals such as silver, lead and zinc from the mine that stretched across more than 1,000 galleries that today can be partially visited with a guide: a real underground journey!
